I am going to the dentist about my tooth this morning so I hope it goes ok. The builders have just arrived, I don't like being in when they are here so it is a good thing I have a lot of things to get done away from here for most of the day. I have an hour until I need to leave so I am going to try and get some of the lists done.

Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
Level Two

Clean out the fridge, use up or chuck anything at or past it's best

Wednesday - Living Room, Hall & Stairs

15 minutes tidy up/putting away in this room
Hoover behind/under any furniture you can safely move
Level Two
S&S the downstairs loo
Dust all electrical items
Level Three
Clear and hoover the stairs
Polish something, brass, shoes, table, the family silver
Dust on top of door

Thursday - Bathroom and study

Descale your taps
Change the towels, sponges, bathmats
Extras
Clear out some emails or favourites

morning all
Hex happy birthday
Dancemum good news really pleased for you and well done on persevering
JJ not sure of the age of your DD but as you said it wasnt where shed gone it was the fact she wasnt where you thought shed be. i wouldnt be too hard on her as she was going to let you know before you knew she 'was' missing from school' IYKWIM btu she needs to realise its up to her to keep you informed if she changes her plans i can understany why the school rang you for the other child as i wouldnt have been sure how i was getting home in her position. the trouble is kids always know where they are so dont perseve themselves as being lost just because other people dont know where they are so they cant understand why we are fretting over them. did any of that actually make sense to anyone else? it did while it was in my head:o
been out swept the road and bought the compst bags back in:mad: looked like the guys had tried to load them on the lorry with a catapult, there was blackberry bramble and woodchip all over the road. id put the bark chip in the compost bag from when i clean the tortoise out. ive got 1/3 of a bag again for them next fortnight now ive swept.
finished crocheting my squares this morning (did it in bed with my early morning cuppa before waking the kids) so can post them today
i hope everyone is well and the poorlies are on the road to recovery or at least finding things a bit easier.

think ive found the source of the overcrowding/clutter problem in DS2 room no wonder im always in there tidying and trying to put away and tearing my hair out at him for letting it slide so quickly.
DS2 clothes list
63 pairs of socks:eek: how can he have that many pairs:o
32 paiirs of pants ranging from 6-7yrs up to his size pants and boxers he only wears boxers
19 vests - ive spent all winter saying put a vest on under your uniform when its cold and he wont wear them
61 tee shirts -no wonder they wont all fit in his drawers!!!!!!
8 wrist bands
9 pairs of PJs

i wont bore you with the rest but youre get the idea he has too many clothes im culling tatty pants vsts and socks good but excess socks and pants can go in clothing bank or 'spare' drawer at local primary
ill 'lose' the small tees but will have to seriously cull his clothes or his room will never be tidy.

its going to be a long morning
