Mildred what do you say to him when he tells you he has organised all these trips away?0

I tried that the other weekend. He fed LO chocolate for breakfast and took him to my mother's = nothing done in the house and it was all there for me when I got back.Science adjusts its views based on what's observed.

He's off on holiday for a week with one of them in April. Would love to know when I get to sod off abroad for a week on my own.
so ask him that very question, sounds reasonble to me that you should be able to have your own time as he does.0 -

I try to (calmly) point out that he doens't get much time with LO as it is, and that weekends should be about doing family things.
He says I get to "do what I like all week" and it's only fair he gets to do that sometimes too.Science adjusts its views based on what's observed.

Have you ever told him that you think he should not be going and that you do not want him to go?0 -
This weekend away has really annoyed me. His family all live close together 280 miles from us. So they all organise stuff forgetting that we have to spend most of a day travelling. So when his brother organised this weekend, which is really just a day out, it costs me and LO a whole weekend. I'm not dragging LO up there for an extra weekend to visit people that can't be bothered with him. The bi-monthly trips are plenty.Science adjusts its views based on what's observed.
