Do you use Internet Explorer? If so, when you open a webpage you will see a toolbar at the top of the screen (it says, 'File, 'Edit', 'View', etc). Go onto the web page that you want to save, and click on the one that says 'favourites', then 'Add to favourites'. Now every time you click on the favourites button you will see a link to the web page.

You could also subscribe to this thread (you do this on the MSE site and they will email you everytime someone posts on the thread since your last visit, so you can just click through a link in the email) - To do this, scroll to the top of the page, you will see two green toolbars running along the top of the page. Look across the lower one for a tab called 'Thread tools', click on that, then click on 'Subscribe to this thread'.

    Hope this helps :)

Thanks 'guys' for the welcome. Those of you who know me (or of me) will know I don't do things by halves, so fully expect to lose a stone in the next 10 days. I hope that is possible.

Although I have a gym membership, I'm not 100% sure how much time I can get to go there. So the first 10 days will be purely on less calories. I've done a spreadsheet from today.

1325 calories to kick off but am aiming for about 1800 calories a day.

stebiz: Quite a bit to lose in a short period, but if you're quite large i guess its achievable!

    Hi all

Fred - 1lb off for me this week. No exercise to report as such, unless stripping and hanging wallpaper are worth anything!

Internet playing up tonight, so just a quickie.

Good luck to everyone weighing in.

Is that a nice way of calling me fat? ;):rotfl:

I've not had as many calories as I wanted today, and it is too late now. Only had 1150 kcal, and I don't want my body to go into defence mode, and keep back some fats, which I believe can happen, if you don't eat enough.
