Hi guys! Majorca was lovely
We had a good time and the bikini came out! It was the first time in my whole life i actually felt alright about my body in a bikini. I never, ever thought i would feel that way about myself in my whole life but at the age of 25.5 and a bit i have finally achieved some positivity towards my self image
Hope everyone is doing well!
Glad you had a good time in Majorca and felt good about yourself. At 25 (.5!) you shouldn't be weighed down (no pun intended) with issues about body image. Well done with the self confidence and keep it up. :T
I had a lovely time with a very dear friend yesterday, walked 5 miles around Grassington but did finish of the day in a cafe and a big piece of choc cake - it was yummy.
Done an hour on the Wii fit tonight in an attempt to balance things out:rotfl:
Enjoy the rest of the weekend.Jane 21120 -
Morning
I walked to town and back yesterday, another 2 km so total now 18km.
But I gave in to two pieces of toast and honey at 10pm last night which were totally unnecessary. I can usually resist eating at this time of night but sometimes it gets me (or rather I allow it to - I'm not dodging responsibility). I have to stop this thing of feeling sorry for myself if I go to bed slightly hungry. Rule - no bedtime snacks ever!
Hope you're all having a good weekend.August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.0 -
Thanks jane! Its definitely inspired me to continue to eat well and exercise so i can feel even better on my next three holidays!0

Family wedding yesterday and feeling a little worse for wear today, so no bootcamp this weekend. Hopefully won't do too much damage on the scales.
Vix, well done for getting your bikini out and feeling confident about your body. I think that half of the battle is to just feel comfortable with who we are and what we look like. I have some photo's of me on the beach when I was about your age. I have a bikini on and my arms are firmly crossed covering my stomach. I now realise my body was quite good, but I thought I looked awful. What I wouldn't give to look like that now!0 -
Evening all
Hope everyone's had a good weekend, and also some of the nice weather that we had here.
Fred - can you record 2km for me please. I'm really busy around the house and garden, but I'm not doing anything measurable! I did walk to the doctor's surgery the other day though.
Vix - welcome back, glad you enjoyed your holiday and managed to wear your bikini with confidence. Had to laugh at your 25 and a half and a bit...! lol When you hit 30 you'll ignore the halfs and by the time you're 40 you'll be lying about your age.
Franby - I'm with you on late night snacks. I really try to avoid them, but for some reason I always start to feel peckish close to bedtime. I try to avoid snacks, but if I really feel hungry I have some fruit. There's nothing worse than trying to ignore a rumbly tum when you're trying to get to sleep.
Weigh in tomorrow, and after having a sneaky peek yesterday, I think I might have finally achieved the target I was aiming for 3 weeks ago...!
Back soon.

Fred - another 4 miles for me today please. Dragged OH out for a quick ramble after the Formula 1.
Aching thighs - from the Wii fit I think - forgot to stretch afterwards doh! So don't think I will be on it tonight.
Good luck with this weeks weigh ins.

I want to lose a bit of weight (before my hols in late June if I can), so I am stepping up the anti on the exercise. I use the Wii and Sports Active 2, and also have a really good rowing machine, and have been exercising at least 3 times a week (motivation stops me from doing more). Because both my wife and I work, meal times are a problem, so sometimes I am eating too many carbs, after 6pm, which I believe is bad. My real question though, is about the calorie counting. I've just had a roast beef sandwich with lettuce, cucumber, tomato, on wholemeal bread, along with a few spring onions, and radishes. How do I know what calories I've eaten? Forgot to mention, I also snack on fruit and nuts, in the odd handfull.0

I'm really enjoying getting older, but i am more than 25 and a half, more like 3/4's!
I just have an overwhelming urge to settle down now. Maybe this is what happens when you spend most of your adult life worrying about what you look like and then when that goes - boom!0 -
Hi all
Fred - 2lbs off for me this week, and can you add another 4km walking too. Actually, I just realised I put 2km last night and it should have read 4, so that's 8 altogether. (Hope that makes sense!)
Good luck to everyone with your weigh-ins this week.
