Back has been in very painful spasm.
    Doped up to eyeballs.
SW is ok but am struggling with only 10 syns.
    Want chocolate.
Sorry not a very happy beanie at the mo & of course have domne no excercise.Pah.

Hi Beanie - I was thinking about you earlier today, wondering how you're doing with SW. Sorry to hear about your back, I hope it sorts itself out very soon.

You can have 15 syns can't you - or have they changed it?

When I was doing SW I found the way to make it work was to eat only foods that are syn free or very very low in syns, and then you can use syns for treats like chocolate, that get you through the day. I gave up chocolate on SW, and used syns for red wine! :o

    Thanks for that Lois.
We were advised to have 10 syns this week.
Plan is ok, forcing me to look at my eating habits.
Makes my shopping more expensive though thats for sure so not sure how long I can sustain that.
This being skint malarky is not so good :rotfl:

    Hi all

I'm on my way back to the UK, currently at Riaza, in a mountain region north of Madrid, and it's bl**dy freezing! We left SE Spain at 8am with the temperature at 12 degrees C, and it dropped steadily through the day. When we were north of Madrid we were rather dismayed to see snow ploughs and gritters on standby and at the services, and when we arrived at the campsite the temp read 2 degrees C and it was snowing.
Travelling produces some dilemmas when you're trying to lose weight, and our meal tonight was a case in point. We went to the restaurant on the campsite, but they didn't have a menu and the waitress told us in broken English that they had fish, beef or pork with potatoes or salad, so I ordered the beef, expecting roast beef with boiled or roast potatoes. The meal turned out to be steak and chips! I ate about half of it, and it was very tasty, but really didn't fit into my dieting boundaries this week.

Tomorrow is the big day - my weigh-in will show whether I've achieved my aim to lose 21lbs before my return to the UK, so fingers crossed. I've got 24 hours internet access, so I'll report in and let you know if I've succeeded.

Hope everyone has a good week.

Hi guys, been away for a while. Just wanted to pop in and say how great you are all doing.

For those of you who remember, I retired last march due to my knees being kaput! Needless to say a little weight has been creeping back on. Not coming back yet as I'm on week 3 of stopping smoking. Struggling a bit, so not too fussed about putting on weight atm.

Just a wee note to let you all know I'll be back among you soon to fight the flab as well as the weed xx

Well done on completing Insanity again - think you will probably find 30DS a little tame after all you are used to.
