    Hiya

Just a quickie to report in with my loss this week - 1lb.
That means I didn't get to my 5lb target but I lost 3 of them so I'm happy(ish) with that.

Well done Beanie - brilliant result!

    Back soon.

A 3.5 lb loss for me this week. :T

Shame that most of that is what I put on over Easter.

Good luck with the weight loss this week everyone.

    Hi

An STS for me this week so still 13st 4lb. I'm OK with this as it was an eat-up week.

Also did another 2 km this morning to town and back and will get back with the swimming now. I've no high days or holidays now until my birthday in June so I'm hoping to lose @7lb by then - this should be doable.

Hope everybody else is getting on well and all the chocolate has gone!
August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.

    hey all,

Weekly check in STS for me FS :)

even after a few months i still find it tough to relax with food, still tracking on myfitnesspal or in my head.

hopefully it will all get better in time.

    Go Beanie! :j

Thanks for the chart Fred :T, I think my 3 lb loss the other week was missed as this month I've lost 3, then gained 1, then lost 1 :).

Yay! Well done Beanie, you deserve that SOTW award. I hope the back is getting better.

World of Tights, sorry to hear life is a bit tough right now. I can definitely relate to emotional eating... the times I've wished I could be one of those skinny minnies who don't eat when stressed. I get stressed and nose dive into a pile of buttered toast. :( I hope things improve for you soon.

Fred, sorry I didn't post my loss, but I totally forgot what day of the week we were on, still think today is Wednesday... that's what you get for long weekends, and the kids going back to school on a Tuesday. After my tricky w/end it was a STS this week anyway, so no harm done. I also got totally lost doing research online into my family tree... 24 hrs later I'm back to the 1600's!!

Have a great THURSDAY (reminder to self)! :D
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Hey all, well done on sotw beanie.

I havent been around alot as weight loss has taken a back step for me, i am currently trying to quit smoking and i know if i do both at the same time i will fail. So quitting smoking comes first so i will be alot healthier and might actually be able to do some more exercise without getting out of breath so easily.

Keep going everyone, i still check in on you all, even when im not posting

  • I plan to follow to the Ketogenic diet at the end of the year. Has anybody done this? It's a diet used by many body builders to switch your body to using fats as an energy source, thus stripping body fat. It's minimal carbs, but it's different to the Atkins diet. Fat (essential fatty acids and unsaturated) and protein is high.
