Hi all  (where is everybody...?)

Thanks for the chart Fred - sorry I didn't check in with my result, it's been an odd week and it was STS anyway.

Well done for SOTW Dannie - that was well deserved. :T

I'm off to London for induction training this afternoon and trying to decide what to do foodwise. I need to leave the house by 11.30 to catch the train, so do I have lunch before I go, make something and take it with me, or buy a sandwich when I get there...? I'm thinking it will be the first one but I know I'll be hungry again mid afternoon and then I'll be tempted by whatever naughty treats are on offer. Problems problems... :o

Hope everyone has had a good week - the weekend is promising to be sunny, so hope you get some sunshine where you are.

  • Can anyone guide me to a reliable BMI against Weight conversion chart.I thought I had found one, but it differs from another one. I looked at one from M&S which said the top weight to be in the suitable range was 140lbs. On the other chart I was looking at, it was 170lbs. I am gradually loosing weight (fortunately not putting any on), but I want a target weight.

I'm afraid its a 1lb gain again this week. I have lost another 0.5" off my hips which is a little comfort. Hopefully I can lose these extra 2lbs this next week. Being away for a couple of days earlier in the week is probably the reason for the gain.

    Exercise:

    Callanetics 2hrs 30 min
    Gardening: 1 hr
    Weight loss 0/2st
    Inch loss = 0"

    Slow & Steady 3

    Hi everybody,

Thanks for the "congrats" and charts fredsnail. It appears that the entries illustrate the first week completed? If so, as I enter my weight each Wednesday morning which Wednesday will be the last entry for this month?

Also, thanks beanielou and Lois Lane for your messages. beanielou, your question got me thinking about how we would all define exercise.

-6lbs seemed a lot and my appetite is only slightly better. However, currently seem fitter cycling and have had a short walk recently for a change.

    Good luck and health.

Good luck with the new job Lois.

Just 2 hours Bodypump for me this week Fred. Back at work after having the Summer off - forgotten how difficult it is to fit in the exercise around work. :o Will have to do better next week as I am determined to complete the Moon Challenge.

Sorry it's difficult to find one as you've already found they differ so much. Here's a link that may help:

Hi Dannie, the chart, 5lb & team challenge are monthly so it's the last Wednesday of the month which this month is the 26th.

The exercise challenge runs from the 1st of each month to the last day of the month.

    Hi fredsnail,

Thanks for the clarification. I seem to be doing okay not doing any challenges but I might still consider doing the moon challenge if that's okay.

That's fine Danny - just log your exercise and I'll add it to the chart.

    Morning all
    HAPPY BIRTHDAY VIXAROONI!
    :bdaycake:

Fred - can you record an hour of walking for me please.

Feeling a bit out of sorts this morning, not helped by having gained this morning. I'll check again tomorrow and log it properly.

Robm - why not set yourself a target? You could base it on when you've been at a weight you were happy with in the past, or you could set yourself interim targets, review when you reach them, and reset your target if you still feel you should lose more.

    Have a good week.
