Hey Everyone,
It's been a whileI've still been nipping in every now and again but haven't been posting. It's just been too hectic!!! I think I mentioned a few weeks ago that I was looking into starting a business, well I jumped straight in and started, lol!
Looking forward to the kids going back to school and nursery, I've got a new wii game and exercise DVD so hope to start up some kind of routine... and sort out my diet. It's not been great at the mo, but have been keeping active (laying laminate, hauling stock around, running around with the kids, etc) so it hasn't really done any damage.
Happy belated birthday Beanie! :bdaycake: Glad to hear you had a fab day
I think I understood the Will Smith quote - I think he's trying to say that the first step, before anything else, is for you to believe in yourself (or whatever it is that you are doing) - that you have to believe in it before anyone else will! Ahhh, Will Smith is amazing! :happyhear
Good luck with the maths Vix! I did it when I was 24, it wasn't too difficult as everything I learnt at school was still relevant. A lot of it will just be remembering the things you learnt last time, so you can spend most of your time focusing on the areas you really need to work on.
Robm - The Dukan website has a good one, they take a lot more into consideration than just your height, so give you a tailored result. http://af.dukandiet.co.uk/en/350-subscribe.html
I'm not signing up to anything this month as I don't know how often I'll be on, and how much of an effort I'll make (:o). Hoping to get back into things though so may join in again in Oct if things go well this month.

Maths update - i may have been a bit too eager to do maths GCSE, i am now doing a course to prepare myself for doing the GCSE. I'm also going to be assessed for dyscalculia
It took some balls, i ended up crying at one point during the assessment, she must have thought who the heck is this woman!! Kinda gutted it may take a few years to get this, but once i do it will be worth it!
I didn't manage to get to Lake Windermere but i did see some lovely countryside in the Lakes regardless! Looking forward to seeing more of our lovely country when i go to Totnes in a few days time!
Hope everyone's had a good weekend!0 -
Afternoon all
Just back from a weekend away in Devon, which was very enjoyable. Not looking forward to this week's weigh-in though.
Thanks for the quote explanations, I get it now.
I start a new job tomorrow so lots to think about - what to wear, what to take for lunch, preparing food for dinner... you'd think I'd be more worried about the job itself!
Have a good week.

Hello everybody,
- 6lbs lost over the last week.
In retrospect, I've done my usual cycling and gardening activities. My average calories per day seemed low. I haven't had much of an appetite which I think is connected with not feeling well for nearly a week now. Nevertheless, exercise has seemed therapeutic for me during this time.
Hope everybody is as well as can be.0 -
