    Friday at last !!!!
Mental busy week , work has been crazy.... Had to do 3 hours at home last night to try & catch up a bit.

Got a £15 off £75 Sains voucher yesterday so want to use that one (last one expired before I got around to it !) also got 2 Mr T vouchers so will try & squeeze those in as well ..... :)

Friday night wine in the fridge - think I will need it after this week ! Feeling a lot more organised / chilled with money now I have a half decent budget tho need to start clearing that small debt.

Right on with the day :)

    Well what a week ....... Shattered !!
Been MSE rubbish this week tbh - work crazy & kids grumpy .... Not a good mix :rotfl:
Eldest decided he wanted an honesty chat @ 11pm on Monday night - I was honest too & I don't think he liked it much. Such a great kid bless him but at 18 he wants to do adult things so it's time I was adult honest with him. Is all good though , we cleared the air about a few thngs & had a hug :D

Ran into my cousin last night and a friend and did the whole "we must have a coffee" thing .... But really we must !!! All I do is work, come home , work , come home ..... Really must get out more !

Need to get back on MSE wagon this week .... Last night I went to shop for milk and spent £13 on cra* !!!! is there a reason I needed 6 mince pies & a house plant ????!!! Lol

Right must get on - back later to kick myself up the backside !

Btw the mince pies & plant didn't cost the whole £13 they were just the bits I felt the need to mention.... I really will stop talking now :D

Well now heres a thing .... I have completely lost my mojo at the moment it's very strange. It's like when I am stressed & getting all kinds of cr*p thrown at me , I function better ? The more stressed out I am , the better I seem to get on with stuff .... How very strange - I'm not a drama queen ... Honest !!! :rotfl:

So , I need to sort myself put & stop moaning about it and actually do something :) to start :

Read a book - I love reading - I have loads to read , I need to get on with it !!!
Do some housework in the week (instead of sitting on my backside , drinking tea , moaning about state of my house :D)
Get up to date with finances (keeping on top went out the window whilst the whole mort/sec loan was going on )
Stop waiting on these kids - they are more than capable of pulling their weight.
Get organised !!! I waste a lot of time thinking/worrying
    .....
That should be enough to get on with !!!! Bit by bit is the only way to tackle the mess my life is , bit by bit :)

Now I have written it here - I have to do it :)

First job , change bed (too lazy yesterday) catch up on washing (in progress) .... Stay away from sofa .....

    Thanks Searching :)

Have changed beds , 2 loads washing , cleaned bathroom .... Tomorrow night I WILL wash floor & Hoover .....
Have £25 in pay pal, pair kids trainers at £15 to take back , a hideous top I bought at £12 to take back ... So that's £52 towards groceries. I am going to order online for delivery Friday evening. And , if I can keep on top of housework this week - then maybe I won't spend the weekend despondent that I have so much to do:) Blimey , it's taken me a while to work that one out :D

Lunches sorted for tomorrow - off to bed to read my book :)

You are an inspiration. Been following you from the start. I think it is quite common to gear up to face a huge challenge, and then either relax when you reach a plateau/feel worn down by it /or get bored of it.

Hmmm dont know the answer! I usually realise i'm slacking off and look for a new challenge to remotivate me- sounds like yours is housework .As long as you keep moving forward, it will all keep moving along.

I'm having a brief flirtation with the flylady thread. could never keep it up but a week every so often of it, has done wonders. going to clean my wooden bookcase with olive oil tomorrow- the strange wonders of these forums will never cease to amaze me.

Ive been meaning to write since i saw you post about realising you dont need expensive creams. After years of spending a fortune and staying in agony, turns out baby oil was all I needed to cure my excema. ( the olive oil was too smelly, its relegated to the bookcase:rotfl:)

and last thing then i promise will disappear for many moons lol, my fave lesson was gathering all the toiletries in the house, half empty, unwanted presents, hotel freebies, samples etc, and making a spa shelf in the bathroom. Different potions every night, total luxury, and yet havent bought a toiletry for 10 months,

good luck, your journey to positivity and grace under pressure has been a real inspiration:T xx

Ah Bess thank you - what a lovely post :) you should drop in and say hi more often.

Have done a few bits tonight but have run out of energy tbh ... I need to do some work stuff really but my brain has given up now - never mind it will still be there tomorrow. I don't have any problem doing some work outside hours - as long as I have the energy :D

Yes must order Friday night wine indeed - in fact that's about as far as my shopping list has got so far !!! Priorities and all that :rotfl:

Am very frugal with my toiletries spend these days & my skin certainly hasn't suffered .... Baby oil is the best :)
Need to call electricity supplier as they want to up my DD monthly but last year I was in credit so not sure why ??!! Ah well it will wait till tomorrow I guess.

Hope all having a good week !

Tonight I have organised & bagged youngests football kits ready for Saturday .... There is a reason this is a cause for celebration .....

Friday night, usually after 2 Friday night glasses of vino , it dawns on me that I need to find football kit. Youngest is incapable of doing this himself as he has a recognised condition known as "iamalazyboyandicantbebothereditus" :D so at about midnight I am to be found going through clean washing/wardrobes/drawers/rucksacks etc trying to locate clean kit ...... I have just done this all ready to go :T

Have just hoovered & cleaned the bathroom again - I may actually hit the ground running this weekend ! Am off to check bank & dig out my spending diary again - I have been slack & back to "losing" £20 here & there - this needs to stop !
