Morning A :) had the miseries last night !!! But had a chat with a drunken eldest @ 2am when he rolled in :D
He did the whole , come on it could be worse , get out & on with your life mum - moving may take ages yet so stop feeling sorry for yourself & have some fun .... Bless him :) I am very lucky my kids are so well adjusted & sensible .... Most of the time !

It has given me lots to think about and a bit of a kick up the backside that I needed. So - will be back later with a much more positive update I think.

The "Reclaiming my life" phase starts now :T

On that note am off for coffee with the girls then on pick up youngest :)

    :D feeling much better !!!
Had to wait ages for youngest outside cinema so did my budget for next month. Next "little" debt is £384 (not that little then !!) so I will start working on this :)
Have about £140 to last 2 weeks for food & petrol so should be ok.

Had to replace lip gloss & eyeliner so used my advantage points for that. Also took back a dress I will never wear & changed it for some jeans (so I now have 3 pairs that fit :) ). Allowed £50 for groceries and it was £50.71 so pleased with that :T

No housework or baking done yet ...... But it will get done when it gets done ! 2 very tired boys (& mum) so I think bed early all round tonight. Hoping may get PPI confirmation this week fingers crossed !

Off to start dinner - hope everyone had a good weekend :)

Just wanted to say Hi and that I think you are doing amazingly well and have come so far from your first post.

Not sure of what you have around you but I managed to get rid of approx 140kg of books at 10p per kilo and approx 50kg of clothes at 40p per kilo at a cash for clothes place (whtracey.co.uk) and just wanted to offer it up as a suggestion to get together pennies that may just add up to make a bit of a difference to the small debt or something else.

Will keep reading to see how you do on your travel to debtfreeness.

    Excellent result.

I can only imagine how good you feel right now! :T:T

Who'd a thunk it all those posts ago that you'd end up here and with a light at the end of the tunnel.

Imagine the difference if you'd simply given up, curled up into a ball and let things take their course. You'd be looking at a lot different outcome.

    Happy days Coco. :D:D:D

    Ah thanks Mr T :D
It just makes life a little easier !

So - £384 is the next target. Had £3.80 left from last weeks budget so that's a start. Also have about £6 in my change pot so that's nearly £10 already :T

Have worked out my Christmas budget today - it's tight but hopefully I will get a little bonus towards it. Ex & I are going 1/2 so shouldn't be too bad hopefully. Bought a few little stocking bits already for boys and have told everyone else "I am broke & I ain't buying this year" - thought it best to clear that up now :D
So am now on the lookout for a giant turkey :) that's my favourite bit and usually get nearly a weeks meals out of it too !

One more load of washing tonight and a general tidy up then a bit of tv.

    Happy Monday all !

Weds already :j how does that happen ?!

Nothing exciting to report here. Have put another .76p towards my next target debt and done a couple of surveys.
Don't have to be at work until 11.30 today but will be there late until 7.30. Once everyone else has gone - I WILL go onto noodle and print of my credit report - have been meaning to do this for weeks :)

Meal planning has taken a bit of a nose dive recently
& my kit cupboards are a mess ..... I need to sort that out. My Christmas cupboard has some cranberry sauce , bread sauce , box of crackers and bottle of fizz in it - it's a start I guess :)

Right , time for breakfast :)

    I've been bribed. :D

I got a call this morning from a six foot blonde, female in case anyone was wondering, who, in return for a bit of lifting this evening, will take me out and buy me a meal and beer. :T

Sounds like a good deal to me.
