Morning Coco - Well Done on the organisation. Sorry about the slow sales on the boys :rotfl: But maybe you need to keep them for a bit to help with the declutter?

Here is hoping you do get a quiet weekend.

    Have a good day xx

I'd take the boys off ebay for a while, at least til after the move. you'll save on removal fees if you get them to do some of it... (although actually it may cost you more in motivational treats etc?)
But probably good time to be putting things on ebay with christmas coming up. I havent got much left to sell, couple of slankets given to my kids last year, but when i looked no one seems to be buying them this year, so think they'll stay in the cupboard, mite just come in handy sometime.

Keep it up - NSD's make you feel good! just dont be like me and think you can spend more the next day..

    Evening All :)

Thurs already !!! Been for my 3rd run of the week :T think I am going to enjoy this ! Just hope I can keep it up.

Boring week , bank is running ok , 2 NSD - still waiting on PPI to complete - been 2 weeks now so hopefully not much longer - all I want is the confirmation of reduced balance and monthly payment & I will be happy :D

Meal planning has been rubbish this week ! So will get through tomorrow & plan at the weekend. Am hoping all this running will give me some energy ! Also need to do some surveys again, so will do that tomorrow lunch time.

Hope all having a good week.

    Morning Coco.

Well that's another week nearly done. Is it only me or does time seem to pass a lot faster than it did in the old days?

I've had a quiet week, no meetings so no travel, quite the luxury these days. It has meant that I've been able to recharge my batteries, traveling takes it out of me these days due to my condition.

Tonight I'm off to the pub for a pint or two with the usual suspects.

I've no other plans for the weekend, I need to take things easy as I'm out Wednesday to Friday next week.

I've got a pile of books building up that I'm going to make a start on, I'm buying them faster than I'm reading them at the moment.
One by one the penguins are slowly stealing my sanity.

Sounds like the perfect Friday night Mr T :)

Finally finished my running around ! Mad day today , but it looks like I will have the night to myself tomorrow night .... I have left room for last minute plans just in case !

NSD , bank as it should be & menu for next week nearly done. Am considering buying my turkey for Christmas this weekend - Mr T has 18lb which I normally buy ..... Huge ! But - i am happy to say I use every bit of it ! Will see how much they are first :)

Didn't get chance for Friday night vino so I will save it for tomorrow night instead !

Hood everyone had a good week.

    Morning all :)
I have just posted off a cheque for £127.89 to clear a small debt ...... I squirrelled it together in rounding acct and waited till I had the full amount - it felt good :D

But I have a question now. As you all know I am ticking along covering bills & mort etc with little to spare. Do I wait until the house is sold before I go the DMP route ? Everything has gone very quiet (don't want to jinx it tho !) and until I sell I can't really commit to £300 or so a month to a DMP. So , do I carry on as I am , squirrel money away and clear off the small stuff as I can ? Or do I go the CCCS route , get it set up & do my best. I need to clear the debts but , for my own mental health I need out of this house .... Any advice anyone ? :)

To get of here I need to come up with solicitors agents costs etc, but I need to know I am , at some point , going to be able to say I cleared my debts too !

Decisions .... Maybe a cup of tea will sort me out :)

Hiya probably best to wait til your sorted with the house etc and know exactly where you are that way if you end up making a bit more than you expect you'll have an emergency fund as a buffer for the long debt free journey :) Also I think if you sign up now your creditors would come first on any ?profit. Also you can still squirrel bits away in the mean time to clear smaller debts like you've just done so your still making headway. Might be worth going through the CCCS debt remedy thingy though, it'll give you and idea of what you can/should budget for and how much you'll have towards debt, it doesn't commit you to anything.....................I did it a couple of times in the six months before I finally took the plunge :p

Good luck whatever you decide :)

Ah thanks Mag :) that's exactly what I needed to hear - I really want to clear everything but I so badly need to move on as well. Ex was here all day today - it wasn't a problem , he was nice as pie - but I have no say in how long or when if you know what I mean ?
I feel bad because he hasn't done anything wrong , it's just the whole "it's still my house & I will spend all day here if I want" thing. He never actually says it , but , I know he is thinking it.

On a lighter note , eldest cooked before he went out earlier, it was yummy :) he really should think about being a chef !! Its all peaceful here , I am catching up on my tv and just pottering ... Nice :D

Going to blitz tomorrow and do some baking. Also planning an early run - but we'll see ! My legs are still hurting from 3 runs this week :).

Right , Xfactor it is then I might have that weekend glass of wine :T
