Thanks :) I think the nice bit might be a bit of a stretch tho ! Lol

    It's FRIDAY !!!!!! and it's nearly "wine" o clock :T
I truly cannot believe how quick this week has gone !!! Work has been crazy busy today but worse than that , due to meetings all day I didn't make a dent in my to do pile .... It just got bigger !! I hate not clearing my desk but it couldn't be helped today.

Food as planned (am getting good at this :) ) checked bank ... Yep I still have no money :D just checking my £1.86 was still in there ha ha !

I got my money back from water board as well & got my payment reduced as well. I will put the difference in saving acct every month so I have it if I get a huge bill - I just get bored of the fight to get my own money back !!! Also in credit with electric again but I think I will leave that for now as that's the bill that varies so much.

It's really chilly tonight - and boys wanted heating on. I told them to man up a bit and put some more clothes on ..... I am NOT putting my heating on in September !!!

  • Hello Coco

Steps out of lurkdom to say I am delighted that you have had such good news. You deserve it. I read your thread a few weeks ago and am now keeping up with all your antics :)

Good things happen to good people. You work hard and you are a good mother.

Enjoy your wine and all the best.
  • Hi Coco
hope you enjoyed your friday nite wine, and today the sun is shining which always makes everything so much better.
Hang in there, its a challenge but you can do it!

My son sat here last night in a t shirt and moaned he was cold!!! Maybe heating will go on in October.... We've sat here before needing gloves in doors as I couldnt put money on the gas card, but never again

    Keep going.
:hello: The grass is not greener, it just looks that way from a distance :hello:

Thanks for the good wishes guys :)

Indeed the sun is shining today ! Last load of bedding on the line , been through all the paperwork with ex & that's all signed and ready to post :D
House is a tip but , who cares ??!! It's the first day I have felt better in nearly two weeks - it's taken me ages to shake this horrible cold :) so housework tomorrow !

Pay day on Monday :j and I cannot wait ! Budget ready with new sec and water payments, and allowing for everything , for the first time in over a year - it just about balances !!! I am soooooo excited ! Now any cutbacks / eBay / survey money can finally start paying off some debt :T

I know what you mean about never again having money on the gas card. Tho for me it's the petrol .... Running the last few days on fumes and hoping I am not going to run out before pay day - never again though (I hope!).

    Hi Coco

Sorry to hijack, but I don't have my own diary. Lovely HMRC sent me £288 of overpaid tax - I didn't know I'd overpaid. I've been right to the wire for the last few months, so was happy to have the slack it will give me. Plus, my lovely mum sent £20 to buy flowers for our 5th wedding anniversary. I'll buy about three lots with that; I do love flowers.

    Hugs, Satchmo x

That's good news !!! Wonderful mums and a tax rebate :T

Well it's pay day tomorrow ...... And I have about £12 left :) and enough petrol for 2 days work trips - that's a big improvement !!! (hope I haven't jinxed it :D ) also , checked on my financial portfolio this morning ........ Yep my £1.86 (I think it was) is still there :rotfl:

So it's been pouring with rain all night, which is typical because it's my turn to do football - so standing in the rain for 1 1/2 hours it is. I must wrap up tho as I can't afford to get Ill again .....

Have a great day all :)

    Tuesday already !!!
Busy week this week - have lots to get done.

I need to jiggle a few Direct Debits around, sort some banking stuff generally, cancel a couple of bits and generally get my new "more balanced" budget underway.

I still want to get back into ebay so I need to also do that :) I also want to print off my Credit report from Noddle - I will do that on Friday when its quiet sround here. I want an up to date report so I can start working out where to start, if thats makes sense ?!

All paperwork signed and returned ref : PPI so now we wait & see what happens next........ I am willing to bet they wont hurry on this .....

Need to do some banking and some surveys now....

    Have a good day all

    *** girlie post alert *****
meant to say - have run out of my usual moisturiser , cleanser etc. As I have v sensitive skin I have to be really careful what I use. I went to buy it today - total cost of about £38 .... But when I stopped & thought - I realised I have been managing fine this month - have been using baby lotion as cleanser , water as toner , & e45 cream as moisturiser and my skin is looking lovely .... A very good MSE result :D
