Ah thanks everyone :) still a bit shocked about the whole thing really ! And yes it will be split between both us, straight down the middle .... It's the right thing to do.
To be fair he has been as good as gold for ages now - everything's settling down finally :D

That aside , hung on to my last £30 as long as I could but had to cave and buy necessary bits today - but I have petrol & I get paid on Monday so it's ok :)

Took another look at my noodle credit report today - wow !! It's not good but at least I can start working on it now ? Now the pressure is off a little bit (tho I won't believe it till I see a reduced loan balance in black & White :) )

Food as planned today & checked bank & was only 3p adrift - I can live with that !

    Cuppa time !

  • That is brilliant news :). I think a bottle of wine to celebrate is in order!

    Cinders.
    SPC # 115 :p
  • Thanks Cinders :) I feel bad for not saying a proper thanks earlier - I was totally choked by all the nice messages I have received re : my good news.... You guys are amazing !

Bottle of wine ? Well tomorrow is Friday :D will have to be a cheap one though as I have a budget to stick to !

One little thing I noticed today - i got a huge amount of work done (as always !) but felt that something was missing .... I think it was the fact that I actually totally switched off for the first time in months ... No niggling little mort/sec thoughts chipping away at me. Very strange.

Job for tomorrow , am in credit with water by £80 & I want it back :)

    Thanks again all

    Hi,
Great news, but when you say it will be split down the middle, shouldn't it just all go towards the joint debt?
    Hugs, Satchmo x
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

Morning Satch (well I say morning .....:) )

All of it is coming off jt debt I was just kind of making a point really. There will be less than £700 to come in total in £££ and that will be split equally. If we both decide to pay a bit off jt debt that's fine - but only if we "both" do it. Otherwise my little bit will be my EF as I have no cc or overdraft I can use & no close family to help out in an emergency.

Then when the house is sold , if we break even , amazing , if we make a little profit (which is doubtful) it will come off jt debt.
To be honest I am so pleased with the chunk coming off the balance & a big reduction on monthly payment I don't really care about the £300 :). Well I do but you get my point ?

In other news - I have £23 of my money left & today's food is sorted. So it's a weekend menu for £20 .... Easy.

I just thought - it's bonus month at work next month :T
I was going to use it to make sec loan payment but now I won't have to !!!!! I can use it for something exciting :) Or, to replace my two front tyres that badly need replacing :)..... Well it was a nice thought while it lasted anyway :rotfl:

    Have a good day all.
