Evening All !!!


Well thats another week done Another ......dull.......week

Nothing exciting to report - have done a few surveys.... and well thats about it really ! Mental busy at work again but it makes the day whizz by. There is a little brown envelope sat on my worktop at home - I suspect it will be a court date Ref: Sec Loan....... didnt get chance to open it this morning and refuse to deal with such crap on a Friday so I will go through it tomorrow when I have the time.
Have mentioned to ex and he has made it clear (though very nicely ) that he wont be putting any more in....... so neither will I. I have said it many, many times - but, this needs an end now! So whatever happens, happens. It doesnt scare me or worry me overly. Would just be nice to be settled somewhere new before christmas

Anyway, need to use my £10 off Sainsbury online voucher this weekend before it expires. Have been doing food as and when I need it and so far it seems to be working ok :T

Hope everyone has a good evening. I have a bottle of wine chilling ......... and having not touched a drop for 3 weekends (I think!) I am blooming well going to enjoy it !

Thanks Heffi - I did I have had am awful cold & cough this week and it knocked me out a treat !

Just catching up on washing & jobs today .... I do love my weekends - I don't love the Christmas adverts on tv already !!!!

Very cross with myself again ! Seem to do fine with my spending diary for first couple of weeks after payday then it tails off on week three and come week four - I have hardly any money left ! So , during October I need nagging please , I want to account for every single penny. I have proved to myself I can manage on a small budget , I just need some help with the daily recording. If I can do a full month , I will feel a lot more in control :T

Dont really need any groceries as have what I need for the weekend and not planning on going anywhere so it should be minimal damage to bank balance !

A very unexpected evening to myself tonight :T

Am I going out with friends ? Going to cinema ? Treating myself to a takeaway ? ..... No - have my pjs on & watching sat night tv ..... Oh dear. But , I have been thinking that I need to get my life back it's always about money , bills , food , work - this has to change !!!!

So , I need to do some stuff for me ...

Start running again
More reading - less worrying
Stop eating so much rubbish
Make some time to do things I want to do
Allow myself a small spending allowance "me" money
Try to smile a bit more

That should all be doable I reckon !!

Whilst I have come a long way this year in terms of my attitude to money - on a personal level I am just treading water & that's not healthy ! I will never find Mr Right if I don't take my pjs off & venture out :rotfl:

Hiya, have you got a ParkRun near you? That's an organised 5k run every Saturday morning - which costs nothing, and increases your circle of friends. A pair of running shoes is the only investment you need, and they are a great investment in your mental and physical health.

Well done on keeping yourself and your family on track so far.

Thats what is the sunlight about this site. Since being single I have paid of lots and no more interest. Now I can see l???t at the end of the tunnel.

There are definate perks to being single ... & listening to ex moaning about current girlfriend (who actually sounds like a nice girl) continually reminds me of that !!

5k run ....... Have to be honest , I think I would die ha ha !! but I do love to run so back on it this week - glad I didn't eBay my decent trainers

Here in westcountry we have the commando challenge give that a whirl. It's s charity event. Very muddy and tiring on Woodbury common.
