A belated Happy Birthday! :T

I hope the coming year is a lot better than the last one has been for you. You have come so far and you will succeed. :T

    Just remember:

Forget the past, you can't change it.
Forget the present, we didn't get you one ;)
Think about the future, you can change that

    :D
    Thanks Masonn !!!

I am really quite cross today - but in a very good way if that makes sense ? I spend my whole life doing things for everyone else .... Always worrying about others - Inc my ex. Eldest didn't care that I was worried sick & couldn't sleep , just one text / call would have done it. Youngest & friends didn't care that I work bloody hard and don't want to be kept awake till 5am. And ex made a big old fuss cos I asked him to pay for youngests school shoes £20 big deal !!!! I have just forked out nearly £100 for rest of his uniform ....... Bloody selfish people !!!! (I feel better after that little rant :D)

So I think it's about time I started to be a little bit selfish :) but not today cos I am just too tired :rotfl:

For now I need to try & restore some kind of order to this house .... Is it bed time yet ???!!! Lol

So lunch for 3 hungry smalls done - cheese & ham toasties & I made some chicken flavour rice to fill them up :) pudding was manky left over fruit bowl contents & some value yoghurt put through smoothy maker - total cost approx £2 :T

Eldest yet to surface .... I wasn't planning on going out today but I have a feeling I may need to go out & get some painkillers :D

Beds washed & on the line , need to clean bathroom but think I will wait till eldest is "over" his hangover ........ Just in case ! Am on second pot of strong black filter coffee - need to keep going somehow :).....

:j and that was Monday :)

Busy at work , did 2 surveys at lunch time. Rounding acct 0.12p & checked bank - nothing exciting !

Letter from Sec Loan to say they have issued instructions for proceedings ...... So , it's the beginning of the end I guess ! I can afford full monthly payment + money towards arrears , I just can't - so will wait & see what happens now. I will call their legal team and see what they can offer but I am not holding my breath :) That said , I feel remarkably cheery - it's not over till the fat lady sings and all that !

Have checked house prices locally today and if anything , they have dropped ! Anyway , keep smiling & all that :)

We all headed off to bed early last night which is hardly surprising considering sat night shenanigans :D
And , we are all tired tonight so early nights all around I think ! Bit of trashy tv then off to bed for me - v busy week at work to come so I might start my "being a bit selfish " at the weekend when I have some energy for it :rotfl:

Hope everyone had a good weekend.

    Morning Coco.

Take the letter to the CAB and see what they advise. Glad it hasn't knocked you back too much.

I forgot to say that my ID has been changed, I wasn't very original with my initial choice using the same ID as I use of some work related sites where you have to use your surname and initials.

I've had one or two comments from people asking if it was indeed me, if you see what I mean, so they have changed it for me.

    Well hello Mr Toad !!
Much more fitting when you live in Toad Hall :D

Have spoken to lovely lady at CAB though to be honest ( other than having my name down on council list etc) there isn't a lot they can offer me so I will just have to wait & see what happens really. My positive frame of mind continues when my boys say "we don't really care where we live" .... That makes it much easier to bear with :)
I have said it before but, I hate living in limbo land - at least if I have an end in sight I have something to work towards ?

Anyway , survey time , check rental sites & do rounding acct ....... Oh what fun :)

    Have a good afternoon !

Coco, good for you. I'm the same, should have cleared my debts a long time ago. I'm on the first rung of the ladder now with a CCCS in place for my debts. Finally feeling more positive about myself and my life now :)
