glad to see you are still around. hows things?
i've had a shocking month-a 5-weeker too
back on the wagon from payday (this friday) which has to cover my birthday girls weekend aswell.
i have been really rubbish!LIVE SIMPLY * GIVE MORE * EXPECT LESS * BE THANKFUL0 -
So here I amFeeling much better about everything (apart from my disgusting house !) Aided by some anti-dep from the doctors .... Not ideal but are definitely helping so will stick with it for now
Have paid off employer loan , been giving a pay rise and finished another small loan so from end June will be approx £150 a month better off :T Half will be used to make a little easier and a 1/4 each towards debt & savings.
The rest of June is super tight , I have about £100 left to last two weeks  but will see how it goes - at least it doesn't feel like a pit of despair like it has done for the last few months
Will need a massive to do list this week as have done nothing other than go to work for the last 2 months (although that was a struggle at times !) so need to get everything back in control.
For now I am sat in the sunshine , eating an ice cream and listening to the tennis ..... I can always start tomorrow
Hope everyone is well xxThe final chapter - £4893 to go out of £30K0 -

Hey missed you. You ve climbed a mountain since you started! Did you ever get any advice on the big financial picture? From cab or stepchange website, or even an soa on here where everyone can tear you apart for using too much loo roll.
You ve battled on alone for a very long time.
Take care, and stop cleaning! :rotfl:0 -

Thanks for all the nice messages
Will do proper update tomorrow.
Have got expenses pretty streamlined now and things are getting a little easier going forward. Have also managed to pay car insurance upfront so that's a bit more saved each month :T
Did a small Mr T shop using some vouchers so that should keep us going till the weekend. Will worry about next week when I get there ! From end of June things should be a little easier.
Came home to eldest yelling at his brother .... I quote " omg it's your mess , tidy it up" ..... I was overcome with prideok so they were only shouting about tidying up the mess & not actually doing it , but its a step in the right direction isn't it ?!?! :rotfl:

Thanks Granny & Verbatim
I must remember to change my signature to something more accurate and positive to keep me motivated !
I am planning a super organised me from now on :j
Badly need to :
Go back to shopping @ Aldi (saved me loads and I didnt buy so much cr*p !)
Get on with the pile for eb*y (it wont sell itself !)
Go through Credit Reports (wont be pretty but needs doing)
Sort/Clean my house (sorry Bess but it needs doing honest)
Work out next "small"debt that I can blast through (probably not the best way to do it but helps keep me motivated)
Sort out savings pots....again.... (for bits I need to think about one a yearly basis, MOT, insurance etc)
Make some long term plans - where I want to be in a year etc....
Break the "I want to move house" into smaller, achievable goals so it actually feels like I will get there at some point.....
Make a list of all the little jobs that need doing/replacing - again helps with the motivation and is easier to achieve !
Thats it for now - enough to be getting on with
I also need to admit that I have another "paperwork" cupboard growing...... I need to sort this out before it gets out of control again. Opening stuff doesnt bother me anymore - its just the doing something with it !
NSD day today, dinner sorted for when I get back and nothing exciting planned for this weekend (mainly because I have no money!) Roll on the end of the month............

Really like the idea of breaking goals into milestones, that's what works for me:) Keep up the good work0
