    :D Helllooooooooo .......

So it's been a little while since I posted. Nothing particular, just felt like i needed a bit of a break really.

All is well, budgets ticking over ok - def better having separate budgets for everything. Shopping / petrol & dinner money / treats & spends - though treats budget is running low already :)
Have fridge & cupboards full of food and plenty of petrol so all is well!

I have been avidly reading the grocery challenge thread and keeping up with diaries - I just got to the point where money was consuming all my time (or rather lack of money) so it was time to switch off for a while although I haven't been madly spending so no damage done :)

Thank you for all your good wishes.

Nearly time for a glass of vino :D x

Up early again today - haven't managed a lay in yet !!!

It's beautiful here today :) will get bedding dried on line later ... Yum !

Ex was coming out today but changed plan at last minute so came yesterday - I am very glad of this now :D intending to have a bit of a blitz today and make the most of this lovely day. Also want to sort clothes out a bit and check oil/water and tyres etc. also, my car is full of c*** so may do that as well !

Very cross as found a £5 off Mr T voucher in my bag as well as expired points & money off vouchers for various shops. Am going to paper clip them in my diary for the week they need to be used on and hopefully that way I will see them before they are expired :) next week will be a split shop to use Mr T & Mr S ££ off then the following week I will venture to Mr A*di and see how I get on ......

Have ordered my perfume online (from treat/spends budget. Was £12.99 but that was cheap as it meant I didn't spend an extra £30 wandering around Boo*s :D

Must go and dig the 2 Easter eggs out of the car in a mo .... In past years we would have spent £50 each on the boys. This year it was one egg each ..... And a turkey :rotfl: love how important food is to my kids! Have already had requests for Turkey Soup and Turkey Curry. Lol.

Eldest is now working 3 days a week :T. Min wage but he is happy. He now pays for his phone , driving lessons and toiletries himself but makes life a little easier for me, and for some reason he finds this easier than handing me a set amount each week. He is very tight with his cash (I am soooooo glad of this) And has saved £600 already :T

Right time for a cuppa ..... Happy Easter All :) x

Indeed I am feeling sooooooo much better now we are heading into spring :)

Washing on line , Turkey Soup in SC smelling nice :)

Have also worked out that by using ££ off shop vouchers carefully I can get £27 off if I spend £140 approx ...... If I plan this right that could do us till the end of the month (my month ends on 23rd) Will need to do 2 x Mr T £40 shops before next Sun and a £75 Mr S shop by the following Sat ...... Will give this some thought ......

Must relist some bits on eBay too :)

Yes you need to give the voucher thing some very serious thought. It can work for some people but you have to remember that the supermarkets are not really giving money away.

They have already carefully worked out their offer and it's sole purpose is to get people to spend more than they would normally just to get the voucher.

I wonder how many people there out there that spend £50 to get a 5p per litre fuel voucher that saves them £2 if they put 40 litres in the car then end up throwing stuff away that they didn't use that cost more than the £2 they saved.

Work out your monthly bill without the offer and if you can get the vouchers by simply adjusting your spending pattern, rather than spending more than you need to by buying 'a few extras' then go for it.

Or stock up on non perishables especially if they are on offer;)

This is exactly what I will do :D

I normally spend £80 a week , so I will split into 2 to put through checkout. Following week I will order my £80 online but then get £15 off total. So my 2 normal shops but with about £25 off :money:

I have today deleted all my horoscope apps .......

I have realised that every day I read them , everyday I worry about the bad ones and wait for the good ones to happen - absolutely bl**dy ridiculous :D It's become a bit obsessive and it stops - today !!

Phew .... Glad that little confession is over :)

Managed a lay in today till nearly nine :T Need to get some milk, seasoning for chicken & mayo - going to try own brand (not value!) and see what it's like. May also try to get out for a run later ..... Once it's dark a the term "run" is a bit of a fib :D

Was so excited it was light till nearly 8.00 last night :T it makes me feel so much better and that life's a bit easier to cope with ? Going to be lazy time till 11.00 then crack on. Need to check banking today. Will use my lunch break tomorrow to look at credit report - must do this !!

Have a good one all x
