    What a morning !

Went down to do a big Mr T stock up shop for stuff I buy monthly. I have managed to scrounge some tokens from friends so I could get the big heavy fry pan on their offer (£49. Which I would never normally pay !). Just as I was paying for it all , a little old lady passed out at the next till - causing chaos the poor woman. She was fine but shook me up a bit!

After unpacking my shopping etc, I checked my receipt (ready to stick into my spending diary :) ). I didn't hear the final total due to what happened. I thought "bloomin eck , that's £40 more than I worked it out !!! I went receipt & realised that she didn't knock off the £35 discount for the pan ! So I marched back down there, and demanded they refund it which they did :T

The scary thing ? Two years ago, I wouldn't even have kept the receipt let alone looked & checked it !!!

Oh how things change :) x

well done you but more important why didn't I know about this offer I've just had an online shop delivered from Mr S (off sick and not able to drive...... #petrolsavings) and would have gone to Mr T had I known that saving out saved my £15 voucher ;)

Seriously though glad to see you back on top form :)

Still haven't updated sig !!! Must do this !

Productive day yesterday , boys cut lawns and did strimming :j
Bought my weekend treat of bottle of wine but I think it must have evaporated or something cos there is only a dribble left this morning .....:rotfl:

Must do PPI form today , pay sec loan , change beds , Hoover through and clean bathroom. Also check oil & water , fill up and put air in tyres and clean out car a bit. Won't bother washing it as its only the rust holding it together :D which has just reminded me I need to do road tax as well !

Busy busy - was also hoping for some sunshine but its not appeared yet .....

Grrrrr..... there is always something !!

I have just discovered there is £1200 in a linked Mortgage Account that is outstanding. I discovered this by chance when I rang to make my Mortgage Payment.

Had a bit of an argument with them (following the Court Order, the wrote to me stating the total payment due each month and by what date, which I have been duly paying every month) - now turns out that they "forgot" to include the Mortgage Overdraft and have demanded full payment in the next 7 days.

The chap I spoke to did admit that it should have been in the letter that they sent to me summarising payment, but it was still my fault. In the end, I had to pay nearly half there and then (which has completely wiped me out) and agree to pay the rest over the next 6 months - they couldnt really not agree as it was part their fault anyway !

Anyway, £100 a month worse off and skint for the rest of the month ................. Sucks !

So, clearing this is my next project, I have nearly £600 to find now ! Am very cross about this - but, very proud that I dealt with it quickly and stuck to my guns :T

Always something that comes along and throws a spanner in the works !

On a lighter note ...... one of my 99p items has 17 watchers ........ only £599 to go then :rotfl:

    Hope everyone else is well.
