Sorry for the long break .... I just needed time out for a while really! Tho rest assured I have been reading on the forums every day - just didn't feel like posting really.

A busy summer - my folks visited which was lovely :) and I have plodded on really. Situation with the house is still the same and somehow I have stated afloat !!

I feel like now the nights are drawing in - I need to get back to it, I need a good old shake up !

It's pay day this Friday so I think that's a good place to start :D

  • glad you are ok

    I've started my Christmas shopping!!
years ago I'd leave it until the week before and bung it on the CC.
payday on Friday for me too, unfortunately it'll be 5 weeks before the next one....
BUT, I've written out my budget so need to stick to it.

good wishes to you and your boys :)

Thanks for all the good wishes, nice to see you all !!

Apart from anything I must sort my sig out .... My employer loan is paid off now !! I haven't done Christmas credit card for a couple of yrs but I have done £3.50 to last all of January and I do not want that again this year, so careful planning & frugal shopping :)

There is some careful planning that I just can't do though. £5.00 off baileys is a great deal ..... Unless you crack it open 2 months early that is :)
