Morning Coco.
glad you're well and still positive about life :T
I've never understood the Christmas shopping mentality, you see trolleys loaded with enough stuff to feed a small country and yet the shops are only closed for one day!
As for me, well, my life has changed completely since I last wrote on here.
I have my first grand child, my son and his wife had Daisy on Oct 2nd:D and she's perfect :A
Also, I decided life was too short spend it working until I drop, so, back in April at the ripe old age of 55 I took early retirement.
Mr Toad is now a gentleman of leisure. :T I'm one of the fortunate people who have an excellent pension and who earned enough money to enable me to save regularly. Now I'm going to spend it.
I've bought a boat, a 60 footer, which I plan to live on once I've sorted out care for my Mum who has dementia. Until then it's just the odd week or few days on the boat.
The really odd thing is that I've never been busier, the weeks fly past and I didn't realise how much hard work enjoying life could be.
Right, I'd better get a shower and some breakfast. I'm being picked up later by a six foot blonde who is taking us to a food and  drink  fair. She's driving so I can sample the many and varied beers on offer. I shall report back to Norman at the local so he can ignore me and continue to choose his own beers
Onwards and upwards! One by one the penguins are slowly stealing my sanity.0 -
Mr T Fantastic news !!!!:T
Grandchild , early retirement , boat - goodness you have been busy !!! Congratulations on your 1st grandchild and at the very young age off 55 so you will have lots of energy to run around after her!
Have turned the tv off because I am bored of all the Christmas ads already and it's only November :rotfl:
Never mind , summers nearly here or that's I keep telling myselfThe final chapter - £4893 to go out of £30K0 -
Love Sundays !!!
Listed a couple of items on eBay and sure I can find some more bits. If any of it goes it will be for stocking fillers, if not , it's no big deal
Cracking on well so far , washing up to date , dinner in the slow cooker and no need to go out today so a NSD. Will make flap jacks later.
Right , on with the houseworkThe final chapter - £4893 to go out of £30K0 -
Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr it's cold !!!! But, a beautiful day - thick frost and clear sky's , I don't mind this it's the miserable wet windy days I hate !!
Up since 6am as couldn't sleep. Cuppa number 4 being drunk as I am reading on here
Usual list to get on with. Need to pop to town later as youngest needs some jeans / jogs. Whilst he can just do up his jeans , they are about 2" too short bless him. Much as I hate the place , I will go to Prim!!k for them.
I don't really wear or buy coats but my hoody just isn't enough at the moment - I saw a nice one in Mr T that I really liked for £30 - too much so I didn't get it. Saw it reduced last week to £18 ..... Was very tempted ..... But walked away. Sold £47 on eb*y this week so decided I would spend the money and get one ..... They had run out ! Typical
Never mind. One item finishing today and it's £37 so far. Must list more. Whilst in Mr T yesterday I was staggered but the amount that people are already buying! One lady had an overflowing trolley , all Christmas stuff, with children following behind with a second trolley
How do people afford it ????!!!!!!!
Right , must get on and brave a shower tho I would happily sit in my reindeer pjs all day :rotfl:The final chapter - £4893 to go out of £30K0 -

This has happened to me more times than I care to remember. So annoying!! Now I just bite the bullet and buy the item as I figure if I like it enough it will last me years anyway.
It's cold and grey here but as far as I can tell no rain yet. I think we'e had enough of that just recently.
Have a great day.:)It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
Hey Poles I was just reading your update .... I can beat you with 2 yrs and no romantic interest at all :rotfl:
Maybe next year !!!!
Item has 17 watchers & 1 hour to go :j
Have just been playing shuffle trying to cover kids gifts. One expensive item each (they told me months ago) and stocking for bits - that's it. I am not buying for anyone else. I was thinking I could just cover it .... Then it dawned on me that ex will pay half :T he won't shop for it , buy it or wrap it , but he will pay half
Made it to the shower , must dry hair and get going .... The thought of town and other shoppers is filling me with dread !!!The final chapter - £4893 to go out of £30K0 -

I can offer to re-home the Marmite cashews for you but I can't help with the mascara, my lashes are long and thick so I've never needed it.One by one the penguins are slowly stealing my sanity.0 -
Typical !! Why are men blessed with long, thick lashes :rotfl:
Sadly I have already stuffed the cashews .......The final chapter - £4893 to go out of £30K0
