Hello Caz!
I think most people have sent or are in process of preparing them to be out this month and start of next month. I can't reorder til the end of the week and Christmas obviously in the way hopefully ill get them out mid January! Our cake lady has thankfully changed the date

In my news, we picked suits on Saturday. I nearly cried when OH came out in the outfit, I had no idea I would react like that! I just hope he has the same reaction when I appear up the aisle in my dress 0 -

Is it your dress in general or because you find yourself thinking of one particular dress? Mine was the latter so I went and tried it on again, decided it was definitely the right one, bought it and now I will not think about it again!

I emailed the people we used for our invites today to explain the situation and ask them how quickly they could get them out to us and for another quote, obviously we dont need more envelopes! lol Just waiting for a reply from them!
We did our suit shop about 3 weeks ago and our best man came over from Belgium for the weekend so we could get a before xmas deal! i was quite shocked as right up until we were in the shop they had both said they wanted black suits! We ended up deciding on navy! I'd never have picked navy but as our colours are lilac's and purple's the suits really worked well with the waistcoats and I must say they both looked sexy as hell! (our best man is actually my best friend who my OH has become best friends with too so i get the best of both worlds at our wedding, my best male friend(although he's more womanly than me as he is gay lol) and my best female friend as major parts to our wedding!!)I'm having major dress wobbles
Oh no...why? just remember the moment you stood in that dress shop in front of that mirror and how you felt! How amazing you looked etc you'll soon stop the wobbles!
I went back to try my dress on about a month or so ago, and until I was driving there I hadn't had any doubts then I was fretting..will it fit? will i still like it? ..... I dunno why I even doubted myself as once it was back on I was on cloud 9 again!:jEngaged 25/12/11 :j

Basically I couldn't afford to spend loads on a dress so didn't even try on some of my favourite styles. I found one I really loved but it needs to be customised (strap and flowers added) and so when I tried "it" on it didn't wow me because at the moment it's just the plain strapless dress. I'm sure it will look great once it's all done but it's so hard to visualise and I keep thinking of all these beautiful expensive styles I've seen.
On the one hand I'm so excited that mine will be unique but at the same time I wish I'd had £2k for a designer dress.Officially Mrs B as of March 2013

I can't wait till it gets here but I'm still worried...

Arghh I wish it was Saturday/Monday and it was here already! It's the not knowing I can't handle :rotfl:
cats - I think we all wish we had 2k! Perhaps you could keep a note of the things you like about the other dresses you've seen and try and incorporate those details into your customisations? And definately concentrate on the uniqueness of your dress!
caz - hope you get all good news from your suppliers!
Three more days until Christmas break and I cannot wait! Hoping to have some time to start putting together the invitations for the reception, need to send them out by the middle of February. I know the reception isn't until May but as we're going to be away for most of April getting married we've had put the RSVP date as mid-March to get it sorted before we go.
Have decided against invitations for the actual wedding as the minimum order for the ones I want is 25 and we'd only need 10. Bit of a bummer but I feel very MSE!
Have heard from some guests that they've booked flights/hotels etc.... it's starting to feel very real :eek:

Thank you - I'm sure you're right!! Soooo hard though. Everything suddenly seems very close, am also trying to sort out my sister's bridesmaid dress fitting but she will be at uni. Argh!
I'm sure after Christmas I'll feel excited again but at the moment it just feels a bit too much and nothing is quite perfect Officially Mrs B as of March 2013
