Was round the MiLs this afternoon and the wedding inevitably came up......

apparently Auntie so & so might come, as might Auntie so & so.....oh really?

1) When did you ask me/us if we minded?
2) When did you ask if we had room?
3) When did it become OK for you to invite guests to the wedding when a) I have never met them and b) you have not contributed in any way - financially or morally?

Whats annoyed me even more is that I just bloody KNEW she would do this, I even asked OH if his mother was planning on inviting people we hadn't considered and he said no......

I had a lovely xmas even with oh working alot, can't believe it's been 2 years since we got engaged (xmas day 2010) and now it's all actually happening!!

Got my bridesmaids toiletry gift sets for the morning of the wedding £25 No7 gift set for £12.50 good old Boots

Just need to get their dressing gowns, personlised champagne flutes, slippers & their little box of chocs and little bottles of champers and that's their pamper sets complete

Haven't sent my invites yet because my poxy MIL2B won't get off her lazy bum and give me her families addresses. She has 1 job and she can't even do that properly :mad:

Sounds like you got some bargains there Faith! I love No 7, OH got me the massive box for Christmas ok, well I ordered it and he paid!

I am still a little peeved about the MiL but at the same time, I am thinking that if this is the worst she is going to do then I can live with it. I can't see that these long lost relatives are going to turn up and if they do, I doubt I will even notice

For some reasons it has all suddenly become 'real' in the past two days and I have just pulled out my massive to do list and realised that I have a lot to sort out . Wedding rings and the guys clothes are the next big things on the list and I have honeymoon to pay off in the next few weeks too! Ok, I didn't help myself by booking a trip to New York in Feb so that's another weekend we can't do anything on!

Yippee just got an amazing new deal on my photography :T

A guy who has been helping my OH out with getting his photography up and running has just sorted us the most fantastic deal for £690!

All day two photographers (1 with me 1 with OH), pre wedding studio shoot with our dogs with 30/20 canvas, mini portable studio to get group & family portraits in the evening, full editing and no copyright, all images on DVD, 30 7/5 prints, 10 9/12 prints, another 30/20 canvas, 2 15/10 canvas and 60 page album for us and 1 for each month.

Added bonus he use to work for Kerrang & Suicide Girls might not mean a lot to some of you but to me and OH it's a massive bonus especially as he has worked with some of my fav bands

Faith, great result with the photographer :j and your gift sets. Try fragrance direct also for some fancy makeups if your doing them. I got Calvin Klein for my girls at under £5 each

Well I was for getting my invites out this week but unfortunately OH's grandmother sadly passed away on Boxing day so I'm going to wait until the start of February.

What has really peeved me off though is the best man. He has told OH he might be moving abroad in February and can't be best man now. Surely he would have known this long before now, not 14 weeks before a weeding. Anyway OH has no brothers or male relatives, my brother was a groomsman and he doesn't want to upgrade him. So now he is having nobody and I feel :mad: I think it's unfair on my brother to miss out and it's disrespectful considering im very close to my brother! Anyway rant over, I'm more concentrating on money, I'm about £1800 short for my wedding, so I need to save more, spend less and really take care with finances in these last weeks.

I hadn't budgeted for the alterations or the hen night, so ontop of the £1800 I'll definately need another £300. Oh Happy days lol

My first dress fitting it 29th January and I still need to shift an inch from my hips, oh I'm all doom and gloom today
