Hi Jellytot and welcome back, am so sorry to hear that you have been unwell, it must be very stressful for you and I am glad to hear that you are feeling better
. It sounds like you have lots organised already! Afraid I can't help with the bridesmaid dresses as I only have one and she went and picked it herself which made my life very easy :rotfl:
I finished my first sweet tree!! There are more pics in the 'DIY' thread but I thought I would put one here:
Suspect I will end up making quite a few more for Xmas, my mum is already putting her orders in! I went into town yesterday to have lunch but thought I would try and get my fishbowls and ended up so perplexed and confused about what I want that I came away with nothing at all. Think I need to decided on the table plan and then work it out...I know I want something like the pic I already posted but then I keep adding to it! Bought loads of tissue paper last night to make the pom pom flowers that compbunny posted, will let you know how it goes

I love the colours and they look super professional!
I was going to share a pic of mine but I don't think I will now (or I'll wait till we get onto a new page at least)

Jtr your sweet trees are amazing! They look just like the professional ones I've seen, well done you! I'm not surprised everyone else wants one :j
Oh and please post pics of your invitations, I'd love to see, I'm sure we all would, and yours too Daisie! I didn't mean to put anyone off with mine :rotfl:
Jellytot - Am so glad you're feeling betterYour venue is lovely!
I got my BM dresses from Coast although may end up swapping them for Dessy ones if my sister gets her way
Spoke to my mum about the dress palava at the weekend, told her how I feel etc but I don't think it really sunk in to be honest, so didn't really get anywhere /sigh. It still all comes down to me accepting that I'll be subjected to 6 months-ish of them pestering me if I don't change my mind :rotfl:
We did have a lovely evening talking about my dress though, hoping to get it ordered by the end of the weekCan't wait!!! :T

Sorry, I missed this and only noticed it when reading back through.....we have got VERY lucky with this place although obviously it helps that we are getting married on a weekday as they have charged us £150 for use until 4pm, £8.95 per bottle of Cava and free OJ to make bucks fizz and a two course buffet carvery for £10.95 a head so the whole lot was under £500. I almost didn't ask because I thought it would be around double that cost and I don't think we would have been able to 'justify it' for a few hours.
Thanks for the compliement Sk00bie1, I was very proud of it and can't wait to make more. Have been a little naughty and stolen an idea from a sweet tree business locally so going to have a go at that next....watch this space
I REALLY want to see your dress now!! I don't know what to say about the BM dress saga....part of me thinks just change so you don't get the hassle but the stubborn part of me says don't give in! :rotfl:

I can't believe I haven't posted my dress to show you guys, I'm sorry!
It's going to be a 50 style tea length number, this one! I fell in love with this ages ago, before we were even engaged! I'm going to have the sleeves shortened and a sash put on, eek! Am getting excited all over again, after I order it I don't know how I'll manage to wait for it to be made :rotfl:
And also in case I didn't post, I've already got my shoes too, these
Looking forward to seeing your other ideaI know I need to show you all my brooch bouquet progress, I'll try and remember to get the camera out tomorrow

Also thanks for your BM dress input, that's exactly my dilemma! Anything for an easy life hehe but she can't win dammit :rotfl:
Especially when my mum agrees with me that it's my decision etc etc but in the next breath says 'Maybe we should order the other dresses' Argh! lol
I think I may need to discuss with my dad, bring out the big guns so to speak. He can usually get them both to leave me alone :rotfl:Cross Stitch Cafe Challenger No. 26 :hello:XStitch to do list:-- Birth Sampler -- Christmas Angel -- Mum's Xmas Stitch -- Christmas decs 3 & 4 -- Xmas Bird ---- Snowflake Sonata -- Be Jolly -- JE Unicorn -- Start HAED!!! --0 -

I am having a naughty moment atm. As some of you may know me and my MIL2B don't see eye to eye (slight understatment there). She has asked me to sign their ID forms so they can get photographic ID to get to the wedding. I am now thinking of all the ways I could muck this up so they can't come :rotfl:I know it sounds nasty but this woman is horrible some of the stories would make your hair curl!First Date 08/11/2008, Moved In Together 01/06/2009, Engaged 01/01/10, Wedding Day 27/04/2013, Baby Moshie due 29/06/2019 :T0 -

Just been and registered our intention of marriage
Thought they were gonna ask all sorts of complicated questions but only wanted OHs middle name & DOB
Can I ask if any of you are doing favours & if so what you're doing? We're not sure at the mo as seems like something we'd be doing just because... Don't fancy spending too much but equally don't want something that looks cheap otherwise we may as well save the money, aargh dilemma!
