If you're doing save the dates now, when do you think you will send invitations? Just we'e sending out invitations now basically, so you may be able to save money and just do invitations sooner? Mind you, we have people travelling so they need the info, which you may not have to think about

Only reason Im going to do S-T-D cards is because i'm making my invites and i want something out ASAP. Got them designed just need ribbon to tie on them

Ah makes sense! we're making our invites too and it's taking ages, I just want to get them out now! We sent save the dates I think in May

Hi all, Been a bit of a lurker for awhile but thought I'd say Hello! I'm getting wed on the 13th of April 2013, but not a friday ;-)
So far I've got my dress and suits, sent save the date cards and booked photographer and florist. I've still got the cars to book! It's just a waiting game for us now as we've got appointments to go back to see florist in January and have our couples photoshoot that was included within the package we booked!
Loving reading all the tips on here! :-D

Hi all!

Crashing again hehe but just thought I'd feed in that our invites are going out next week and we're sorting details of the church service this week too! My sisters bridesmaid dress is here and just need to sort alterations, and my dress has come in too!!! How exciting!!

Will update more later but spent some time trying out the tissue paper flowers from compbunnys thread and here are the results:



They are a bit fiddly and I almost gave up because I hated my first two but the third was miles better.
