    Ooo you've all been busy!

Welcome to the thread Jtr :)

Your ring is beautiful, I love it! And another purple bride :) well it is the best colour :T Glad to hear you didn't have too much hassle swapping your dates with suppliers.

I've been a bit useless on the wedding front I'm afraid. Still not getting on with my sister (apparently not a purple lover!) about the BM dresses and it's put me off :( Plus FiL2B hasn't been well, which pushed wedding plans to the back burner for a while.

Love reading about all your plans though!

I have been working on invitations a little though, the ones for the ceremony are about to be ordered and we've decided on envelopes etc for the reception ones from Vistaprint. As soon as I have some made up I'll post some pics!

Just wondering, have any of you other April 2013 brides booked honeymoons yet? We've just started looking properly in earnest and I have fallen in love with an amazing resort in Mexico :) really hoping to get it booked very soon! Eeeeek :)

Obviously I have but then I had this booked as a holiday already and we just turned it into honeymoon :rotfl:

We so almost booked Mexico for next March, was a big toss up between the El Dorado Casitas Royale, Royal Playa Del Carmen, Secrets Capri and another one whose name escapes me!

Very happily married on 10th April 2013 :D

Just sneaking in to say wow, what a very pretty ring jtr. So happy it has all come to gether for you both:T:T I think the going on holiday immediately to a place he knows and loves is a master stroke in helping your DH2B cope with his anxieties, but you still get to have a lovely little ceremony and something to look forward to when you come home.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

Ooh yay :) we were in Vegas last summer and are going to NY the week after next :) you will have an AMAZING time! OH actually suggested Vegas as a honeymoon destination yesterday but I really want it to be somewhere we haven't been before.....and I want a luxurious, all inclusive beach holiday where we lie around drinking cocktails and doing not much else! We NEVER have holidays like that as our holidays are usually quite active road trips, never staying in one place long, so I really want ONE relaxing beach holiday for our honeymoon before we start popping out babies!

We're not having our honeymoon till 2014 so not worth booking yet but we know what we are doing.

We're going to San Fransico, LA (OH isn't keen but I am :) ), Vegas & Hawaii.

It's mainly so we can go to things like Alcatraz & Pearl Harbour as we're both into history (We're totall geeks) Plus I really want to see the Hoover Dam & the Grand Canyon.

Just hope OH work let him go lol

Omg I'm so excited, I originally wanted a beach holiday but the better half would hate it so this is a compromise. We've got 2 kids already so 2 weeks away is gonna be a big ask but the youngest will be 3 and my parents are minding them for us. They'll be in school and nursery during the day. I'm planning on a trip to Disney Paris with the kids when we return so they get a trip too.

That's a great trip you've planned, and a great idea to have it in 2014, we should have thought of that too

Yeah I'm pleased with it & that we have decided to wait a while it means we have something to look forward to still & we have time to save again after the wedding rather than trying to do both. I can't wait :)

Taking your kids away after your trip Cathy is such a lovely idea
