Thanks MCI - I am trying and know that it will all be fine come Friday lunchtime
Rather sadly, I've calculated that each 10 minute period is just over 1% of the time I have to work before my holiday.

Methinks that 7 cups of coffee, a bad mood and driving around Ibrox moments before the gates opened for a home game wasn't the best idea? Highlights included:
- Going up a steep hill to a roundabout directly behind a bus
- Taking the wrong turning at a junction so that I ended up on one of the busiest roads into the city centre
- Missing an unmarked crossroads
- Going onto a roundabout when it wasn't safe to do so
- Carrying out a turn in the road when some git decided to park *exactly* where my turn was going to take me, making it a 5 point turn
- A crazy lady parked on the wrong side of the road launching herself into the flow of traffic at me
- Missing a filter light
- Trying to drive off at traffic lights in 3rd gear
Thank goodness I have 10 days off driving - yesterday was not a good lesson!
TCB have paid out for our broadband switch, so paid a bumper £34.19 into both the OP Pot and the EF today
Payday tomorrow, it can't come soon enough.
Sounds like a regular day of driving really!:rotfl:0 -
Hi Mr E, I agree with Lula, everyday there are nutters on the road and this is getting you into experiencing first hand the amount of avoidance actions needed. Enjoy the break then back to the steering wheel again :T
You're doing brilliantly with your OPs btw

Ed, to learn to drive in Glasgow centre is the equivalent of advanced driving - I HATE driving in and around Glasgow full stop as it's like whacky races, except slightly more mental
To cope in this situation as a learner driver means that you are doing just grand:)

MND - Let's go for 2020 'cos it's got a nice ring to it:D

I finish for the holidays tomorrow afternoon
Today I just kept my head down and stayed out of trouble. £15 payments made to the OP Pot and the EF and I'm trying (and failing) to preserve my spare money now that I've been paid. Mrs E got her final Christmas present today, some Benefit makeup. My word - is that stuff expensive! I worked it out at £1370 a litre :rotfl:
Going out for dinner with Mrs E's sister and her BF tonight, hopefully won't be more than £20 a head as it's a cracking curry/grill place where they don't serve booze, which helps to keep the spend down.
We have wrapped almost all of our presents with only 3 more to be delivered/wrapped.
Feeling childishly excited about Christmas and am only slightly deflated by the £165 factor's bill we received this week.0 -
