Hehe - a few days yet
Got bids on 8 items now, watchers on almost all the rest and oddly enough, 15 watchers on one item (a thermometer?)
Just back from lunch with Mrs E, my sister, my sister-in-law and my niece. A good meal and good chat, although it felt weird being so outnumbered by ladies
Paid another £5 into the OP Pot and EF, now unbelievably skint. Thank goodness I get paid on Friday, literally running on fumes here...0 -
Added another 14 items to GreenMetropolis, dropped the price on everything and will look around for books I've missed at some point next week.
Wanted to check Amazon Marketplace prices, but it seems to be down?0 -

Morning HDK
We have a Santander mortgage, so have to make minimum OPs of £500 at a time. The money goes into a 2.8% instant access holding account for the meantime. Should have enough for our first actual OP at the end of the week.
£1 Payments made to OP Pot and EF. Back in the days when I was paying off my debts, I never envisaged doing PAD for mortgage overpayments!
Updated Amazon Marketplace prices, checked eBay (9/17 will sell) and otherwise keeping my MFW head down until Mrs E gets paid on Wednesday and we can make monthly payments.0 -

Evening Edinburgher
Well done on another book sale.
Although not a NSD I feel quite pleased with my bargain shopping today. After seeing people talk about the £co app I downloaded it for myself to have a little look. While I was using it at lunchtime an offer came up for the BodyShop. Spend £40 and get £20 off.
I stocked up on xmas pressies that I would have bought anyway - so well chuffed. Had to share the news lol
I think it's still valid for another few days too in case anyone else is interested

Well done you, sounds like you've grabbed some bargains
Our Christmas shopping is pretty poor so far, think we've only bought three presents or so (biggish families, so gift buying is a somewhat lengthy process for us)
Feeling a bit down in the dumps this evening, but have completed another job application and am a bit more hopeful that I'm a good match for this one. A fairly hefty pay cut, but sounds like there's actually some work to do. It's a library role as well, in a large organisation where career progression may still exist!
Currently in the ridiculous situation where I'm paid a relatively high wage, but have nothing to do. Every week I feel more and more guilty about it, but it's not as if I can give it up until I have something else0 -
As you know I'm not a keen shopper so I try and do it as I go along anytime from September onwards. More I can do in advance of Decmeber (and horribly busy shops/postal delays) the better!
Will you be at home for Xmas or do you go away?0 -
Will you be at home for Xmas or do you go away?
Home for us - we live within easy travelling distance of both my parents and Mrs E's parents. Mrs E's dad is a chef, so Christmas dinner is normally spent with the in-laws.
What about you?0
