:rotfl::rotfl:No he wasn't tidied away, but he should have been. On discovering his food bowl was missing he ostentatiously fainted in the middle of the kitchen floor as he was weak with hunger. I tried to move him but he wouldn't get up, the viewers had to walk round him...

I had a lovely day with the Captain we enjoyed each others company so much. He is really excited when he first sees me and charges down the field like a youngster to greet me. He won't share me with Noah [not that Noah is bothered :rotfl:] I have officially retired him, not seeing him every day I can see that he is older now, he is stiff in his joints and so very grey. This is what is best for him, it's time to enjoy his older years without working for his living, if only he had a pension...
Yesterday I worked my one shift at the coffee shop, I ended up working extra time as it was very busy. It was nice to go back and see the regular customers and catch up with them. I think they were pleased to see me too.
When I got home I had a couple of messages from the Estate Agents, one of the viewers from the other day wanted to come back and another couple wanted to view the house. Guess what? They all turned up ten minutes apart. Very stressful, especially as I hadn't been in long.
The new couple bought her mother with them who was an utter nightmare, cross-examining me as if I was lying about everything in the house and poking round in my things. I turned away to answer a question from the other viewers to find she had emptied my airing cupboard:eek::eek::mad::mad: I am fairly sure this is not normal behaviour for a first time viewing and bl**dy rude to do so without asking. She informed me that the dining area was pokey...trust me, she nearly knew what pokey really meant....
I was so stressed I couldn't sleep for worrying about moving and the whole viewing experience and I have a late evening shift in front of me for today

Hi Piquant :hello:
I won't ask how you are, because in some ways it's a mirror reflection of what was happening to me, and i find it upsetting to see you struggling.
I think you'll find your way out of it before i did, and i hope that once you sell your house, your life will start improving for the better.
One thing is for sure, it's quality of life, which is important. Not what you own, not working yourself to death, (especially not working yourself to death,) not what anyone else thinks, but the time you have, which is yours. I should say, the free time, which belongs to you, and you alone. Yours to do with as you wish?
You can't keep working all the hours god sends, forever. No one can keep this pace. There's a fine line between working to live and living to work. I know that now.
Many kind thoughts
ani xx
hi ani, it's good to see you again. I agree with your sentiments about quality of life and do not plan to work at this level once the house is sold. The one thing this mse journey has taught me and many others is that a simpler life is preferable, I don't need all the possessions and things that are dictated by media. Since I started I have cut my monthly outgoings by over £2300 :eek:When I'm debt free I will calculate some exact figures

what a horrid person, I hope the "in-law" knows what he/she is getting:eek:
You might like to tell the Agent, that should that family wish to view again, that the agents must do the viewing (while you go out for a while), after all he/she would not like to be witness to a murder!:rotfl::rotfl:

Morning Piq, I think you have hit the nail on the head right there. I am very much of the same opinion, have worked out what really matters to me, and possessions are not high on the list. Talking to OH if we moved in together there isnt much in my current house that I would actually bring, it would be very limited as dont see the need for it all. More ebaying for me I think :rotfl: Ex on the other hand is all one for possessions, he is not happy unless he is spending and the amount of stuff he has is just ridiculous, he never uses half of it and it just sits there, its all needs this new gadget, new thing and then happy for a while and then discarded and onto the next new thing, but wont get rid of anything old, just a totally different mindset to me.Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

The cheek of the woman! No that is not normal viewing behaviour. You have a survey to check there are no structural worries. Don't worry Piq. If the house is right for someone they will buy it. What's at the bottom of your airing cupboard will not figure in the decision.
Take care

Hey lovely
I'm just popping in to say that I can't get over how bloody rude folks are - I'd have upended her and shoved her in the airing cupboard until she could behave.
Honestly.
I hope you're fighting fit today.
Maybe when faced with buyers you need to be interviewing them to make sure they deserve to live in your lovely home. Might make folks behave a bit nicer.
Hugs and good luck finding someone nice to buy it.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:But spot on Fortune, spot on :rotfl::rotfl:
Good lord, what a viewer huh? Not in the least bit 'normal' behaviour, but sadly what folk do anyway. The bright side is that she's obviously got a lot more cr*p going on in her life than you have, if that's the best she can muster to show how important her influence is. I assume she didn't have the decency to fold and replace the items.......well, then she'd just be a laundry fetishist and could actually be quite useful to have around..... send her to me! :rotfl:
