I'm frantically doing sums at the moment. I'm loathe to update the signature as I may have to temporarily put things onto the remaining credit card to pay for things for the move. It would be depressing to see it increasing even though I intend paying it off with the house proceeds. I am chuffed to bits to have cleared the penultimate card though!
I've paid for the EPC certificate thingy by cheque, must remember to keep an eye out for it going through. But I think most other things that have to be paid up front will be going on the cardTotal debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

Hey Piq well done on the viewing, and good luck with Friday night cleaning! I have similar things to do tonight as have to sort new lodgers room out and get washing from week done and really need to dust and mop floors as these are revolting too. Will mortally offend Doglet as hoovering is the work of the devil as far as he is concerned!
Well done on paying out of the credit card - and if using it again then clearing is the best way to manage cash flow then so be it! No point in stressing about it.
Hoping the bay of E will continue to reap rewards with your efforts.
Have a good weekend. (PS do be out when the viewing happens, you are paying someone to do this bit and you do not want to hear the mumblings as they walk round)Start info Dec11

As I walked in the door at 5:20pm my phone rang. The estate agent asking if I was available for a 6:00pm viewing :eek::eek::eek::eek:
I chucked everything that was out into a cupboard and swept my makeup and hairbrush into a drawer, cleaned the bath and basin, sprayed polish into the air, vacuumed the centre of the living room carpet and chucked Colin's dishes into the dishwasher, complete with cat food
I have no idea if they liked the house but they ought to be impressed at what a nice smelling tidy place it is....ahem....Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

Two viewings arranged so soon that's good. Did colin hide himself away, or did he get tidied into a cupboard too?:rotfl:The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0

:rotfl::rotfl:No he wasn't tidied away, but he should have been. On discovering his food bowl was missing he ostentatiously fainted in the middle of the kitchen floor as he was weak with hunger. I tried to move him but he wouldn't get up, the viewers had to walk round him...Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30
