:rotfl::rotfl:No he wasn't tidied away, but he should have been. On discovering his food bowl was missing he ostentatiously fainted in the middle of the kitchen floor as he was weak with hunger. I tried to move him but he wouldn't get up, the viewers had to walk round him...

Cats always have to have the last word:o, the canine in our household (Miss MM) used to be put in the car during viewings, she has to bring a ball or toy to everyone in the house and will swipe them on the leg with her paw if they do not respond quickly enough, not always appreciated by me, let alone complete stangers:rotfl:The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. :j Yay to the house viewings (actual and forthcoming). Very funny about colin Still, it'll help to keep the house in the viewers minds - especially if they've seen several houses

We used to have a chocolate Labrador who used to "love" her blanket, she only ever did this in front of people who didnt know her, including possible house purchasers, after the first time dog blanket banished to garage and dog went for walk, the embarrassment!!!Carolbee0

Apparently the Estate Agent had problems moving Colin who had come in to help him show the people round his house, okay, show the people where his food bowl was. Shock horror, no food bowl  causing another fainting fit, this time across the doorway to the living room. Incidentally, I had put a huge bowl of biscuits outside his house in the garden and, incidentally again, it was empty when I got home:D The Estate Agent had to lift Colin up and move him 'he's a very big cat, isn't he Mrs Piquant?'
Very boring day at work, I did several crosswords and listed another few items on eb@y. Then I went and cut the grass at my elderly gentleman's garden as he is going on holiday for a week. Then it was a well deserved glass of wine and an evening of television.
Three items sold yesterday bringing in £55 :TAll into the moving fund. I need to research the car insurance which is due on the 30th, the quote is the same as last year which is promising, if it's not massively above everything else I may stay put.
Today I'm off for coffee and croissants with my Dad then I'm going to see the Captain, can't wait! It'll only be for the day as I'm back at the coffee shop tomorrow. Sunday is my only day off. Working at Living0 -
Hi Piquant :hello:
I won't ask how you are, because in some ways it's a mirror reflection of what was happening to me, and i find it upsetting to see you struggling.
I think you'll find your way out of it before i did, and i hope that once you sell your house, your life will start improving for the better.
One thing is for sure, it's quality of life, which is important. Not what you own, not working yourself to death, (especially not working yourself to death,) not what anyone else thinks, but the time you have, which is yours. I should say, the free time, which belongs to you, and you alone. Yours to do with as you wish?
You can't keep working all the hours god sends, forever. No one can keep this pace. There's a fine line between working to live and living to work. I know that now.
Many kind thoughts
