    Hi :)

Just found your thread on Monday and its taken me this long to catch up. I don't know about anyone else here but my problem is I'm a serial hobbyist. I get into something buy stuff for it and then after a year or two get into something else and leave the previous stuff to lurk neglected in boxes.

Following your lead I shall try to release some of this stuff for other hobbyists to enjoy (there's probably stuff they don't even make any more in my cupboards)

really looking forward to following this diary to your debt freeness Piquant

    :wave:Hello summertea

I am flattered and touched that you have even read a page of my witterings - thank you. Welcome!

I have found stuff I don't even remember buying :o It is bringing in some much needed cash though. I'm hoping to make enough to cover moving costs. I'm keeping the money in my Paypal account so it can't get accidentally spent, but can be moved quickly if necessary.

If you can bear it get eb@ying, it'll either clear some debt or put some money into an emergency fund or savings. You can't lose really.

Here's an interesting one; Tesco have sent me an email offering two weeks free cat food off my online grocery order.....I wonder if they know how much food Colin can put away in two weeks?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Actually it's spend £60 and get £15 off, I think I might go ahead with it and stock up with washing powder etc, and cat food, of course.

Not a great deal else to report on, coffee shop haven't paid me, need to chase up on that and a shift and a half at the new job today. Best get moving I suppose :D

  • Piq - I hope the coffee shop hurry up and pay you - otherwise get your regulars to start haranguing the manager........:D

Do you have any quality time with the Captain over the weekend? I do hope so.

Plus, if the EA has booked in any viewers, I hope they are serious contenders, knowledgeable about what they are coming to see, and are impeccably mannered!

I've been naughty. I've turned down a viewer for the house who wanted to see it at 9:00am on bank holiday Monday :( Apparently the only time they can make it. If they are really looking for somewhere they will find the time. I hope I haven't turned away the only person who will buy my house, but I get so little time to myself these days.

Coffee shop will add my pay to next week's money, pain but acceptable.

Created a stir at the new job already :o by changing the food slightly :o improving it actually! Double cooked the chips making them crispy and light instead of soggy and greasy and added simple seasoning to the toasted sandwiches. Lots of compliments and more importantly a couple of tips :T The chap who does alternate shifts to me won't be too thrilled as he reckons he's a great cook, but I've decided to not mention what I'm doing. He can run a 'greasy spoon' I'm not going to!

The boiler is serviced and is in 'good nick' for an old boiler. Good news there then :T Unfortunately, the gas man got hissed at by dear sweet Colin :o The gas man was quite taken with Colin and tried to stroke him only to be hissed at:o Something about him obviously frightened the cat as he stayed under the bed all night.

Last evening shift at work this evening and tomorrow is my precious day off. Not sure what to do with it yet, maybe I will go and see my beloved....

Go for it! I think it's free listing this weekend as well, so might be worth breaking the weekend rule to get rid of a couple of more valuable things?

Yay to the boiler, the "revised" menu and tips, poor colin, shame when the man obviously liked him, but our four legged ones are so much more sensitive to odours, vibes etc.

If your house is really the type they want, the viewers will find somewhere in their schedule another day! Enjoy your day off tomorrow, cuddles and horsey kisses sounds good to me. No doggy cuddles here, 09:19, pouring with rain, Miss MM took one look outside through patio door and has gone back to bed, however, as soon as OH picks up his shoes she will be waiting by her lead:rotfl:
