Well I think I'm boring! I am working hard, it's not great money but I do love the gardening jobs, not so much the coffee shop job  The overall aim is to get the Captain nearer home, speaking of whom I'm going to see him at the weekend :j I'll be setting up a herb garden for my friend and hugging my horse for a couple of days! Bliss....

I was thinking that the gardening jobs will only last until the autumn then I need to do find something to tide me over the winter. The pots come to mind naturally. I'll find out postage and packaging costs and perhaps put a couple on the bay of ee and see if there's any interest. I think the postage may be prohibitive though.

About to have a shower then pack my trug on wheels, most brilliant of inventions for the traveling gardener! The afternoon will be free for potting up seedlings and my own weeding...

Forgot it was May and subsequently forgot to set up the worksheet for May finances :o All done now, I've been paid by Pr£t and got the small mystery shopper bonus, only £15.50 but not to be sneezed at!

    Be back later....

Piq you have really inspired me to do something for my own garden. Because of a totally broken and rubbish body I cant manage gardening but I am desperate now to get some lovely pots for some herbs. AND ITS ALL YOUR FAULT!! :):)

Am so happy that you are doing okay - and it can only get better, yay you!!

Would you like a chicken pot for herbs? I think parsley would look good in one.

Way to go you !! Sounds like your business is really taking off. Just reading your diary makes me tired ! Mind you, am tired really, working full time and farming part time... Still calving here , up to 32 calves running around now.
Loving the pots, you're a talented lady :D

I'd love to calf-sit for you. I don't envy you though the amount of work you have. Hats off to you for coping so well!

    Well Done Piq

It might've been boring to you but it still keeps us lot interested.

I keep looking at my garden and want to get stuck in to it but the only problem is that I have no clue about english plants and what they need to survive and when I did garden in Oz my Dad was always there to give me a helping hand if only you were closer. I even managed to kill the potted chrysanthemum husbandpet bought me for Valentines Day oops.

Good luck with all your ventures.

Not boring at all, well done on all the good news. Hope you can get enough carrots for the Captain into your car ..... have a lovely time with him.
What about starting to build up some customers for cooking, for the winter? You are obviously good (and creative) at it as well as gardening, and they could jigsaw together quite nicely, with some customers wanting both services, perhaps? I would have thought something like a thick homemade soup (strange to think about this on the warmest day of the year so far!) in freezeable portions would be great for an older person. Perhaps you could go even further and grow the veg. in their own garden for them? Just some thoughts.
