Evenin' All....
Where to start? DS3 came round last night and we had nachos for dinner. I may never eat them again. About midnight I had that awful feeling that I was going to be sick. I was. A lot. Horrible. I felt a bit weak and wibbly this morning, but okay now, just tired from being up most the night. It might not have been the nachos but they are my overwhelming memory of being ill, so no more nachos for quite a while _pale_
One of the customers insisted on being served by me yesterday and she gave me details of another older couple who need their garden done. I called them when I got home and went round there this morning. After being introduced to all their dead cremated cats on the mantlepiece and the life sized cow in the garden I got the job :TI'll do a couple of hours there on Thursdays.
The Job Centre advisor who was sacked while I was with him popped in to see me too, which was nice. He's appealing the decision. He left me his contact details as he'd like to stay in touch. He looked much happier than he ever did at the Job Centre
Mum has gone out and bought me a greenhouse, which is marvellous. Apart from the massive amount of work I'm going to have to put in to make it a space. Ground leveling and tree pruning no lessI'm thinking of getting someone in to help.
I've taken it easy today due to last night's shananigans, but have managed to finish off a few pots. Here is my beta rainbow pot. The next ones will be better as I know what I'm doing now. I need slightly more curve on the rainbow. It does have a lovely pearly glow though

Oh dear sorry to hear you were poorly. Glad the green house is coming from mum, but possibly a good idea to enlist help. Even better news about the gardening jobs.

*waving back like a mad thing* oh wait a minute, I'm already a mad thing....
Life ticks on and it's all change in Piqlife, not sure that you will have the time or the correct amount of boredom to catch up. Read from here and ask questions is the best way forward.Love love love the pot's.
Take care xx
Thank you that's really kind. I am super critical of each one and always think I could have done better so feel embarrassed to sell/give away. Having said that, I finished a larger very glossy black pot with yellow daisies yesterday that I do like. It will look good filled with yellow Osteospernum or yellow Marguerites. I think I'd better send it along to my mum for keeping before it accidentally slips into my garden....:obrizzledfw wrote: »Well based on this I am buying:D:j

I will worry about the greenhouse site later. Today is a coffee shop day and a long one at that, Friday is always a very busy day.
It looks like rain all day so I'm not missing out on the garden.
On the positive front although I will never eat nachos again, being sick seems to have cleared my cold. Today I feel much better.
Not a huge amount to report back on since my last check-in. Finished a couple of pots, started another gecko and have another four pots primed ready to paint up. Masses of seedlings ready for potting up, hopefully at the weekend. And my chilli pepper seedlings have finally made an appearance! :jI could paint a pot especially for chilli plants, hmmm......
Time to do the general tidy up before leaving, think I will leave Colin in for the day, he wasn't that keen on the rain earlier :rotfl:He went out the front and was at the back door in less than two minutes, must have done his business on the run....:rotfl:Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

So glad you are feeling better Piq
I had an experience with pringles once just the same as you describe and although i've eaten them since I avoid if possible as the thought of being sick pops to mind every time! Wish every time i ate chocolate i had the same thoughts :rotfl:
Just think you've saved money on the greenhouse as your mum bought it so I think you've got a great excuse to splash (mse style...) money on some hired help to level the ground :money:
I love the pot btw! I have done similar to mine in the past but the paint all wore awaywill have to use waterproof paint next time lol and not just the kids art set :rotfl:
