Tomorrow I'm going to get a few more cards out and about. The wife of my elderly gentlemen is going to put some up in Sainsbugs for me. Tonight's job is to print them off! I'm going to use the money I've earned gardening to pay for the card placement, not money out the current account. I've even set up a spreadsheet to track costs.

I think one of these would be a wise investment...

Portable so you can poke it in the lawn as you're working, mobile advertising at it's best as they can also see your handiwork.

    Evenin' All....

Where to start? DS3 came round last night and we had nachos for dinner. I may never eat them again. About midnight I had that awful feeling that I was going to be sick. I was. A lot. Horrible. I felt a bit weak and wibbly this morning, but okay now, just tired from being up most the night. It might not have been the nachos but they are my overwhelming memory of being ill, so no more nachos for quite a while _pale_

One of the customers insisted on being served by me yesterday and she gave me details of another older couple who need their garden done. I called them when I got home and went round there this morning. After being introduced to all their dead cremated cats on the mantlepiece and the life sized cow in the garden I got the job :TI'll do a couple of hours there on Thursdays.

The Job Centre advisor who was sacked while I was with him popped in to see me too, which was nice. He's appealing the decision. He left me his contact details as he'd like to stay in touch. He looked much happier than he ever did at the Job Centre :)

Mum has gone out and bought me a greenhouse, which is marvellous. Apart from the massive amount of work I'm going to have to put in to make it a space. Ground leveling and tree pruning no less :( I'm thinking of getting someone in to help.

I've taken it easy today due to last night's shananigans, but have managed to finish off a few pots. Here is my beta rainbow pot. The next ones will be better as I know what I'm doing now. I need slightly more curve on the rainbow. It does have a lovely pearly glow though :)

That's really kind of you, thank you. I've been a bit lax posting, but you have made me feel a bit guilty....:o

I've been missing off the boards for a few days. Naturally because I've been out doing heroic deeds, saving the world, rescuing puppies from wells that sort of thing....

    or

I haven't done anything much that could be considered in the least bit exciting :o so have been too embarrassed to log in!

Tomorrow I will be going to my new gardening customer, I'll be doing a couple of hours there in the morning. The lady who introduced me to them came into the coffee shop today and said she may well have a another customer for me :T I gave her free coffee, she deserves it! Yesterday I gardened at my two other gardens, both are looking good and the customers seem to be very pleased.

The pot painting is continuing I now have a gecko pot done, as suggested by ani, several different sorts of herb pots and I'm about to try a Mediterranean one with a sponged red geranium as suggested by Skint but Optimistic. I have noticed I have absolutely no discipline in pot painting, it's just what I fancy :o Although I do have a fair few chicken pots around the house now :o

Masses of seedlings and plants everywhere. Colin has removed many of the labels so most of them are mystery plants ;) I'm afraid.

This month I've managed to break even, I haven't made anything but minimum payments to the cards, but I haven't dipped into my very small emergency reserve. Thanks to the water meter my bill has dropped from £36 to £16 per month. Thanks to the heated throw and electric blanket the energy bill has dropped from £91 to £66 to £25 :T I still haven't cancelled the boiler insurance though. My mobile contract is up for renewal this month. Rather than have a new phone I'm going to get the bill down instead.

Told you it was all boring, so sorry....

Was thinking re greenhouse base/location, I don't think I'm a million miles from you? I recall something about you being on this side of the smoke but may be completely wrong, anyway if you need a working party to get a location prepared for it I'm there
