Dorothy, I'll find some recipes for you at the weekend, somewhere on this thread there's a recipe for muffins, complete with photos, fail-safe and light and yummy. Several folk have made them and will testify that they are okay.

The recipe was done at my request and the only baking I've ever done is out of a shake and bake, luckily husbandpet knows his way around the kitchen :rotfl:. I might've managed to misread and put an extra egg in the first batch but they still tasted gorgeous and the second batch were to die for as the banana's were even riper (and husbandpet helped).

I was going to make them this past weekend for my girlie night but after 2 weeks my banana's still hadn't ripened so had to make do with a selection from Mr A's instead :o. Best tip I can give you is to make sure your banana's are as ripe as you can get them as they're so much tastier then.

Anyway back to reading and looking forward to hearing good things.

Don't worry everything is fine. The internet went on holiday.

My connection has been intermittent to say the least! The neighbours have had the same problems. It seems to be back now and hopefully won't go away again ;)

I had a telephone interview yesterday :T but I don't think I did very well :( I seem to be overcome with nerves and can't think straight. This is a job at a much lower level than I have been previously. The interviewer was hung up on the fact that I work at Pr£t when I have such a high level career behind me. I said that it was because I had to do an honest days work and not sit down and claim benefit indefinitely. I'm not sure that this is what I should have said, I think it shows that I'm a worker and get on with things, but now I'm not so sure.

Funnily enough I was told that I was a Pr£t perfect employee on Wednesday and if they could clone me, life would be perfect! Shame they don't perfect their wages ;) And yes, a lot of that article was true, although I think the journalist may have taken some of it out of context.

My mortgage claim has been approved :T they have decided that I am not working 31 hours a week, they did phone my manager to confirm, who told them they were stupid to think that anyone would work for £1 an hour. My manager doesn't mince their words so it will have been a very rounded telling off :rotfl:

....and gally, Colin hasn't eaten me yet. I'm sure the idea has occurred, but common sense has told him that there would be nobody to open his tins.

Off to work soon, I will be back to catch up this evening, internet permitting.

Morning Piq and others :) Fingers and hooves crossed for the interview and fab that they managed to sort our your mortgage claim ok.

So a question to ask you horsey bods :D Thinking of showing hossie this year, doing some in hand, now given the fact that she has only just started long reining, been in a horse box once which was a horrific experience i.e. picked up and manhandled in (not by me!) and she hasnt been out of the safety of the yard, do you think I am asking too much!! ;)

Piq, Phone interviews are had because you can't get the person's facial expression, but surely having someone who doesnt want to be idle should give good marks! x
