So poor I can't even pay attention

I've spent the day at work, very busy indeed. It seems that everyone [except me] has money to burn. So many people pull out wads of twenty pound notes and pay for sandwiches and coffee that come to over £20 a shot. I find myself wondering if they're living in their overdrafts or whether they have been better with their money and it's actually theirs.
It wasn't a NSD today. I bought a new file for this year's paperwork. I was going to recycle the one from last year, but decided to bin it after it bit me and forced me to wear a blue plaster all day!
Feta cheese and black olives with spinach and tomato salad tonight. I fancy some lighter food and I could certainly do with eating some lower calorie food tooTotal debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

Ooh your salad sounds lovely
I bet most people who are buying the coffee etc., aren't as well off as they might appear

Happy New Year everyone.
Bloomin 'eck Piq you're making me tired just reading about your days. I didn't even get dressed til 6pm yesterday and that was cos we were going out for tea.
The diet starts next week for me as that's when my parents return to Oz and it's really hard to eat healthily when you're eating out all the time and they're paying :rotfl:.
Yours is still the only diary I have the guts to get involved with (until I start my own up).
Here's to a fantastic 2013.

Saw on news a >280% increase in people getting debt advice. Bloke they spoke to who took a pay day loan without having a pay day as he was unemployed ..... Surely the clue is in the name or is it just me?

I would say that it is most likely they are borrowing from somewhere to have wads of £20s in their possession as very few people I know these days can truly afford to spend >£20 in a coffee shop.
Does your biting file count as a declutter or not as it was replaced with a new one? Let's hope that doesn't bite xTargets

I'll keep the good and the bad for my diary this is the ugly...
Took dogs for walk around soggy field no issues, got back to car opened rear door (think large 4x4 side opening door) bent down to pick up dog (why can't I have dogs that leap athletically into the back of the car) door swung to close only it couldn't as my head was in the way! Cue slight nauseous feeling and tentative touch to head, finger came away with blood on it despite having a hat on! Decided to leave it as it was as I had the pony to get in.
Survived the gates of gloop just, thank god for Hunters wellies (other makes available but may end up sucked off in mud). Why if a pony must roll in the mud does it have to do it on the side where the head collar buckle is.
Came home and took off hat, nice red coloured forehead with an interesting scrape on the top. Some very bright red colouring to inside of black hat. I'm sure scar will prove a good topic of conversation for my important meetings next week. As I'm somewhat folically challenged it is fairly obvious.
Recovering now with left over Christmas cake and green tea.0
