Just had DD2 and her lovely boyf come over who moved my tv from one side of the room to the other, including cables and filled holes too! So I'm getting used to the lounge being a bit different, may rearrange furniture too tomorrow. Interesting as I was quoted £500 by some cowboy to do the same job!
What a lovely bf and a huge saving of £500 :j
Very impressed with the horse acrobats Piq. Maybe a circus career beckons? Don't know about the rest of you but I'm sick of wet dog paws everywhere, not to mention wet dogs. Mine are now getting used to lifting their paws when they come in, but they aren't keen to be honest!
So what's everybody's New Year Resolution?[/QUOTE]
Only if it was Cirque du Soleil - I'd love to see one of their shows live.
Only resolution for me is to get a job that pays me enough to live on. All else will come second this year including debt bustingAlso a Mrs B fan here. I love the "that's nice" scene about elocution lessons.
Running vault, now you re just showing off!!
Sunday sounds good to me, I am gently recovering from an over indulge last night at a party watching Sherrlock on the telly.
We all need to get the indulgences out the way for the start of the new year. I plan on finishing off the chocolate and Baileys tonight. I don't want them tempting me in the new year :rotfl:trix-a-belle wrote: »I always struggled to vault on but then I was always hopeless with leg ups too, give me a long stirrup regardless of horse size and i'd monkey my way on.
Definitely loving the imagery of a prancing cob doing it sanish style Piq

I've done wayyyyyy too much washing up today! although some was left from christmas dayhave also used up a load of veg into courgette and tomato muffins, cleaned the oven, tidied several kitchen cupboards & put the christmas decorations away, next to try & solve the mystery of my walking washing machine & then to eat some more left over christmas cheesecake I seem to be drowning in...
Oh savoury muffins sound nice, recipe???
Cleaning the oven  I'm keeping the door firmly closed on mine. What I can't see I don't know about....

Cirque de Soleil is fab, I've seen it twice, once in Florida and once in the Albert Hall. I would say that after Florida I was a little disappointed in the Albert Hall - I think because the stage was smaller it was less spectacular.0

Oh savoury muffins sound nice, recipe?
Recipe what's that?I've got a fab book called 500 cupcake & muffin recipes which i live for, bought for me by my mum from a jumble sale for 50p & adapted two of them together
It was along the lines of 320g plain flour, 2tbsp baking powder, pinch of salt
1 grated courgette, half a dozen fresh tomatoes chopped up small ish
1 good squeeze of tomato puree, 1 small 100g jar of tomato & onion chutney (from my work Christmas hamper)
2 eggs, 100-120ml olive oil, half a pot of Philadelphia (left over from cheesecake making)
Mix dry ingredients, whisk wet ingredients in separate bowl, combine both & add courgette & tomato bits & distribute into greased muffin tray
bake at 175 degrees C (my oven is a fan) for 30mins
That mix has made me 12 normal muffins, 12 mini muffins & 1 spare in a cupcake paper lol, most have gone in the freezer- Mortgage: 1st one down, 2nd also busted

Here I am at the end of another year. I'll be here on my own this evening but that doesn't worry me. There's plenty to watch on DVD and a bottle of wine to finish up.
I've checked back on my spreadsheet, and, yes, I have finally set up one for 2013. And much to my surprise, seeing what a tight financial year I've had, have actually paid £6,712.11 off my overall debt figure. So :T me:T!
I don't really do new year resolutions, but I will get a permanent job in 2013, it is my number one priority. I will also get my self back on my feet with my thyroxine dose and get back my get up and go!
Most of all I'd like to say thank you to all of you who hang out round here and have cheered me on, cheered me up, inspired me and supported me through this year. I appreciate each and everyone of you - Stars the lot of you!!
May all of you have a healthy, happy and prosperous New Year!
