:jWow the Captain is something else - well done you for hanging on and managing the vault. Maybe you wouldn't have done it if you'd had time to think?

Glad you had a good Christmas and here's hoping for good things in 2013. Am just watching Mrs Browns Boys and having a wee Limoncello which I made from the recipe on your thread.

You're right if I'd thought about vaulting, it wouldn't have happened!

I was crying with laughter at the second part of Mrs Brown, the nativity play did it for me....the unconscious angel :rotfl::rotfl:

Lovely Sunday so far. Have had a pleasant and uneventful time with the Captain, rode him in his lovely clean tack, I even wiped it over when we had finished [that won't last :o]

Still yet to sort out next year's spreadsheet, but it's only a copy of this years so won't take too long.

I've joined the decluttering challenge and have committed to 365 items to go in 365 days. I'm hoping a lot of them will be on eb@y and bring in some money too. First item is now on eb@y at 99p. Just getting rid of some bits will be therapeutic though. Also joined the NSD challenge I'm going for 15 and 5 in a row, must update my signature too.

Working from my meal planner it looks like pasta bake for dinner. It was carrot and coriander soup for lunch, and enough made for another three lunches too :j It was lush...

Envious....I just love the way she changes the script and the other members of the cast lose it completely. The gondolier/gonorrhea scene was a classic :rotfl:[not in the Christmas episode, a previous one]

Hello all:wave: hope you all had a good Christmas! Mine was lovely and quiet. Just had DD2 and her lovely boyf come over who moved my tv from one side of the room to the other, including cables and filled holes too! So I'm getting used to the lounge being a bit different, may rearrange furniture too tomorrow. Interesting as I was quoted £500 by some cowboy to do the same job!

Very impressed with the horse acrobats Piq. Maybe a circus career beckons? Don't know about the rest of you but I'm sick of wet dog paws everywhere, not to mention wet dogs. Mine are now getting used to lifting their paws when they come in, but they aren't keen to be honest!

So what's everybody's New Year Resolution?

Also a Mrs B fan here. I love the "that's nice" scene about elocution lessons.

Running vault, now you re just showing off!!

Sunday sounds good to me, I am gently recovering from an over indulge last night at a party watching Sherrlock on the telly.

  • I always struggled to vault on but then I was always hopeless with leg ups too, give me a long stirrup regardless of horse size and i'd monkey my way on.
Definitely loving the imagery of a prancing cob doing it sanish style Piq :)

I've done wayyyyyy too much washing up today! although some was left from christmas day :o have also used up a load of veg into courgette and tomato muffins, cleaned the oven, tidied several kitchen cupboards & put the christmas decorations away, next to try & solve the mystery of my walking washing machine & then to eat some more left over christmas cheesecake I seem to be drowning in...

Oh no....just discovered damnyouautocorrect.com. Crying with laughter over some of them. Possibly because I've made so many howlers myself through texting without specs on.

Have been on there instead of doing spreadsheet :o
