Christmas was lovely thank you, only downside was that DD is in Australia. However, I've just spent two hours facetime with her so feel quite happy.

Unfortunately, the rain meant the moat was back and the drawbridge is broken....I have a great photo of DS1 carrying his girlfriend through the torrent that used to be my drive! DS3 was kind enough to carry Colin through the torrent a couple of times so he could visit the grass, then carried him back [who says the cat is spoilt?] The rest of the time Colin spent under the bed, refusing to come downstairs until the evening. Whereupon he sneaked onto the sofa whilst everyone was in the kitchen, meaning the family sat on the floor rather than disturb the cat....

Today I've been with the Captain, luckily we got a short hack in before the rain returned. Then I've just been clearing up the debris from yesterday. Most leftovers are frozen in single portions or will be used up today and tomorrow. I've got plenty of wine to declutter tonight with, hopefully, some decent stuff recorded from the television!

Colin the VERY SPOILT PUSS CAT has he grown another claw to keep you all under?

Doglet was poorly yesterday and so no walking, but we also had the return of the flood outsider our back door. We are going to get some sandbags and make a pointed statement to next door about flooding the joint drive way and our patio with their monsoon and waterfall exit from their garden

Yes he's very spoilt, but that's one of the pleasures of getting a rescue cat giving them a life back.

    I watched Miranda, loved it!
