  • Pants about the interview Piq but maybe it's for the best. Once the higher Thyroxin dose kicks in you'll feel much sharper and on the ball.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you

What an anti-climax for you. With luck at least one of the three candidates will find something else in the meantime which will allow the interviewer to be be even clearer that you're the best person for the job.

Well what a day at work that was :eek: I think I ache from head to foot. So many people in the shop, queuing out the door - horrible.

I've got over the disappointment of yesterday. I'll just have to hope they don't pull the job in the meantime and do interview in January. As Fortune Smiles says I may do better once my body has sorted out thyroxine problem. I will be a lot sharper.

Laughing at the cat that got the watermelon :rotfl::rotfl:Thank goodness Colin is nowhere near that big. He's all curled up next to me at the moment, he seems to miss me when I've been out for a long time. Most the time he sits at the opposite end of the sofa and looks horrified if I suggest he sits next to me :rotfl:Unless there's something to eat, then it's a different matter entirely.

I popped to the CPL to pick him up some ping-pong ball for Christmas and asked a bit more about his history. I had been thinking about getting another cat friend for him. But apparently he had been unsuccessfully fostered and he really doesn't like other cats, beats them up  It also said on his notes that he eats anything [Really??? I'd never have known that....] He now has four bright orange ping-pong balls to play with.

    One other thing......

Whoever sent me the Christmas present, and I know it was one of you. Thank you, so very kind of you, but you're very naughty. I would send it back if you hadn't sent it anonymously....

Now where did the weekend go?

All I seem to have done is work and fall asleep on the sofa :o

Luckily I'm not working tomorrow so will have a housework blitz and get as much kitchen preparation done as possible. The food shopping is done, mainly thanks to DS1 & 3. I did the veggie shopping in the local farm shop and got a few other local bits and pieces such as bread flour, jam and eggs.

As I'm home tomorrow I can catch up on the diaries whenever there's a lull in the housework!

  • Our mog is in the bad books. Bad bad kitty has been doing his doo's in the lounge. We've turfed him out after reading him the riot act. He didn't seem at all remorseful. Little toe rag.
