Oh dear Mr V, hope you are ok and taking it easy. Christmas cake and Green Tea sounds rather yummy, although my preference is mint tea rather than Green. We have one piece of cake each left for tea tonight and then its diet with renewed vigour. (Seems a pity to give it to the birds as OH made it himself and its rather yummy).

Crikey you were lucky with that head injury Mr V do take care and if you feel at all (unusually) odd do seek medical help. Oh and horses roll in mud headcollar buckle side down as metal glints in the (sun) so predators might find them and eat them (allegedly - according to a lovely batty psychic who used to keep her horse with mine many moons ago)

I have today inspected the sabotage plot (also known as communal kitchen at work) a few chocolates left and about a third of a tin of biscuits, plus I kid you not 8 sweets - those were unopened on 02Jan!!!!!!

Well at least I didn't eat them.

I'll keep the good and the bad for my diary this is the ugly...

Took dogs for walk around soggy field no issues, got back to car opened rear door (think large 4x4 side opening door) bent down to pick up dog (why can't I have dogs that leap athletically into the back of the car) door swung to close only it couldn't as my head was in the way! Cue slight nauseous feeling and tentative touch to head, finger came away with blood on it despite having a hat on! Decided to leave it as it was as I had the pony to get in.
Oh ouch  That was brave of you not to look to see if the top of your head was still there...
Survived the gates of gloop just, thank god for Hunters wellies (other makes available but may end up sucked off in mud). Why if a pony must roll in the mud does it have to do it on the side where the head collar buckle is.
For the same reason they ensure the buckles of their rugs are also encased in mud... and the same reason they snort the contents of their muddy nostrils all over your face....
Came home and took off hat, nice red coloured forehead with an interesting scrape on the top. Some very bright red colouring to inside of black hat. I'm sure scar will prove a good topic of conversation for my important meetings next week. As I'm somewhat folically challenged it is fairly obvious.

Recovering now with left over Christmas cake and green tea.
Pretend you got whilst doing ninja types exercises for the SAS or something. It is bound to be a talking point and ensure they remember you!

It's much later than I thought, meant to post much earlier as I thought I'd be very tired by now. I only managed about four hours sleep last night. I just don't sleep much any more :( I still do that huge body jump as I fall asleep and then can't get back off.

I've been under paid again. This is getting to be a bad habit, as I can't have the hours made up on the next payslip because it will take me over the 15.5 hours allowed. Effectively, they are getting another three hours free labour from me. I will speak to the manager tomorrow

I did another declutter, this time the cosmetics and toiletries were cleared. I find I have many pots of eyeshadow all in much the same shade of brown and lipsticks, again in similar shades of pink. All that differs are the brands. All in all I cleared about 25 items, all in the bin, but counting as one items for the 365 challenge.

My friend clipped the Captain for me today, he fell asleep during the process, only waking to enjoy the sensation of having the area around his boy bits clipped....Me thinks he enjoyed it a little bit too much as my friend asked me if there was any way I could get him to retract his pride and joy....

Trying to cut back on eating, but needing a healthy snack I made some popcorn. It's supposed to be good for you and low calorie. I flavoured it with some chilli powder and lime zest. It was just what the doctor ordered! Delicious!

Can you request that your manager give you the difference from the petty cash seeing as it their mistake (again?)

Good idea! Thank you! I'll ask tomorrow. How are you PiggyBank? How's the job hunting going? It's dead in my area this week, I'm hoping it picks up next week as everyone returns to work.

How annoying, if they can't pay you out of petty cash they should ensure that they make your wages up each week to the maximum amount you are allowed to earn until its all paid. Make a record of all the hours they haven't paid you for and tally it each time they make up a bit, that should ensure they don't do it again. They can afford to pay you properly, you certainly cannot afford to give your time away for free. My only other suggestion is they pay you for the hours owed without you going in.
