definitely have a word with them Piq, i'm sure if you incurr charges due to incorrect pay they are liable? there must be some detail on it on here somewhere. so if they need to make up the missed pay as it is Their Error! and if you lose your mortgage assistance because of Their Error they are liable for that/bank charges due to insufficient funds/etc as well
it may focus their minds enough not to screw up again, twice in such a short time is far too much already- Mortgage: 1st one down, 2nd also busted
- Student Loan gone
Swagbucks, Mingle, GiffGaff, Prolific, Qmee & Quidco; thank you MSE every little bit helps0 -
can't believe your wages were wrong again..unbelievable
aww bless the Captain enjoying being clipped and feeling so chilled out0 -
I honestly cannot believe payroll can make so many mistakes! I really would turn round and explain it to them and make the point you are suffering as a consequence, so either they cough up petty cash (although not sure this can be done if it is centralised payroll) or you are logged for 3 hours you don't actually do this week - simples.
Gorgeous George used to love being clipped to - never bothered with a headcollar and once did him in a field - good as gold, just stood there and he even used to hold legs up for the fiddly bits under his elbows!
Popcorn sounds lovely - note to self buy pop corn.Start info Dec11

I had the difference in pay refunded through petty cash. The manager was going to give me the hours off, but I said I would rather work as I really needed the money not the time. So I can breathe again temporarily!
The mince pies were going out of date tomorrow so were going to be wasted  So I very kindly said I'd take them rather than the bin. I now have a dozen mince pies in the freezer:)
Found 50p road kill too
And a chap dropped his shopping on the bus. I helped him pick it up but he missed a large orange which I didn't see until he had gone, so I took it home
well, it would have gone to waste otherwise...
Also found a lottery scratch card and that has netted me £2.
Now the financial outlays that are due this month
The buildings and contents insurance is due at the end of the month. The renewal has gone up by £10 for the year, not too bad, but I will shop around and see if I can get a better quote and cashback.
My breakdown insurance is also due £34.50 for the year. Will shop around same as above.
The Captain's dentistry bill is in - £84.00
Quite a lot of money to find. I need to get eb@ying, but I also need a free listing weekend for some of the stuff that might bring in some money
I've got a couple of 99p items listed as part of the decluttering challenge, but no bids or watchers. I'll put some more tat on tomorrow morning. Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

So glad you managed to get the pay through Petty Cash Piq thats one less worry for you !
Your Chilled out Captain story really made me giggle but perhaps I wont read that one to DD2 or she will be asking all manner of questions !
Good luck with the ebaying, I have a fair bit to do but I was wondering if its worth it in January assuming most people have no money left after Christmas. Maybe I will seek out jwil and see how she is doing on the ebaying front.
Have you any news on the re scheduled job interview or have I missed that post ?LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Good point. The two items I have on there at the moment have no interest at all. The bits that probably will sell will start at more than 99p so eb@y take such a large cut that it makes it hardly worthwhile.Have you any news on the re scheduled job interview or have I missed that post ?
The person from the agency is off until Monday, so I thought I'd chase Tuesday.Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

I was jealous granny or should that be franny? You'll have to be careful with that alter-ego you know. One glass of wine too many and one dropped 'r' and it's a whole different game...Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30
