Oh slugs so many of them ATM. The mere thought of squishing them with toes makes me feel quit (a lot more) poorly. We have a snail infestation, the blighters munched my hostas grrrrr.
Doglet does NOT do rain and as next door have managed to create a monsoon effect with the "gardening" all the rain water now floods out of their garden across the shared driveway and sirs under our kitchen window and directly outside the back door! Not helpful.Start info Dec11

:rotfl: My DGD2 last week was playing in the corner of the room quietly and a bit too much so for my liking so I went to see what she was doing. She looked at me all sheepish and hurriedly rammed something in her mouth. _pale_ I extracted it, only to find a still wriggling wood louse  DGD1 was disgusted and told her off :rotfl: I just felt sick

Evenin' all
Not a lot to report. I did a long shift today so I'm quite tired. I had the pedometer in my pocket and I clocked up 18,000 steps during the shift, a lot of which was running up and down stairs. Hopefully, this means I can leave another pound or so lying around somewhere.
I had a letter from the council, I have been awarded council tax benefit, but how much I will now pay is not clear, very confusing the way it has been written. It seems to be back-dated too, but again I'm not sure. I'll wait until it is due next month and see what is taken out of my account.
I've also got my first piece of research/ article to write it's due Tuesday. I was too tired to look at it this evening. I'll read the brief tomorrow morning and make a start on it then. I'm not working tomorrow, I've got shifts in the week instead, so I'll have time. Although I plan to spend time with the Captain too.
I was hoping to have a NSD, but ran out of breakfast cereal. Unfortunately, I don't like the cheap muesli and have gone back to the more expensive one. The cheap ones seem to be too sweet and dusty.

Done. Consider yourself a hired hitwoman. I found a slug on the mint I picked last night to go in my risotto. Thank goodness I washed it first and found the horrible thing...:eek:Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30
