Well done on coming second, although I understand how disappointing it is for you. As I said before something will turn up honey of that I'm sure. If you can come 2nd after such a disastrous interview, imagine what you can do with a full one.
Good luck with the possible leads.
Your tea sounds yummy and biscotti, can I come round?
Poor shin, hope its better soon. Perhaps Bear kicked you in the night when you were sleeping x
I'd love to have you round granny, we'd have a lovely time! The biscotti were so easy to make and taste amazing and all from odds and sods in the cupboard.
The Bear can be a bully, I wonder if he kicked me....I might have had more than the four inches of bed that he hasn't spreadeagled himself over :rotfl:Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

And we know why they went bust, all those women suing them for clothes shrinking cupboards. :rotfl:
Mine tend to shrink at the other end, I only actually have a bust because I'm over-weight :rotfl:Targets

Ooh if Grannys coming round for Biscotti can I come too ??!! :j
Second is good on the interview , and its lovely to know you impressed them and they liked you, but as you say its not earning you any money. :(There must been somewhere else to look for a job, you have obviously tried the usual recruitment sites etc etc. Have you tried Trovit ? I use them alot when searching for contracts, quite a few obscure recruitment agencies seem to pop up on there from time to time ?
I'm so sorry you are feeling down, you are always so good to me when I am having an off day, wish I could cheer you up although I am still a bit bleary eyed so maybe I will come back later and try harder !LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

All are welcome for coffee and biscotti, the best bit about the biscotti apart from how yummy they are, is that they're fat free, so one [remember the amount - one not four] is a guilt free treat.
I haven't used trovit, I'll have a look shortly, I'm about to check the job boards, but I seem to be on here instead...
I'm not that down, well, maybe a little. Like everyone else money shortages are worrying me. I will look for another part-time job or a decent full time one. Of course I'm always there for you, in fact, all of us have so many folk rooting for us all on so many different threads, it's humbling...Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

I'm sure it will be L. I hope things are a little easier for you too.
The heavy rain has squashed my parsley flat  I hope it perks up. I have DS3 coming for dinner tonight and wanted to make garlic bread like they do in Pizza Express, the garlic butter is so nice with chopped parsley in it. Think I'll make macaroni cheese to go with it. He likes that!Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30
