To mobile junkie...what is a LBA?

Yes, what is a LBA? Perhaps you can help us out here with constructive advice. No one here is 'letting' this company get away with it; we are communicating with each other in order to find out how we are individually being treated by Phones4U in order to avoid such further treatment.

Therefore, I guess, in a nutshell, yes, you are missing something....

I have faxed over my documents yesterday, and they have received them and passed them to the chequeback dept. I sent them a robust covering letter asking to be payed within 14 days. I recorded the conversation so if they mess me about anymore they will be getting a letter from moneyclaim.
  • A Letter Before Action recorded delivery giving them x days to pay up or you will take the appropriate legal action. These threads have quite a few examples.

Rather than try and answer the same multitude of questions hundreds of times I decided to write a little "guide". It has already vanished from page 1 of the mobile phone threads but if you think it useful put a comment on it to keep it on the front page and perhaps it will warn at least some people of the common "mistakes". I didn't really cover LBA - well, it took a while to write and I could write an awful lot more, but think it's a decent stab of some of the repeated traps.

same story here. Even before checking everything the CS woman mentioned that I might have to send the 7th bill . Now she is going to send me another redemption voucher to be sent in with my 7th billand then apparently there shouldnt be any problem at all!! Will wait and see. As a backup she asked me to fax her the bill ........ how nice of them !!
