And remember to send off the originals as the details from Phones 4 u are contradictory.0
-
ok - confusion time!
which is the correct address to send claim forms to, pls? the bristol one on the email redemption voucher or the middlesex one that was on the website.
also, which is the receipt, as these were web offers. i had a delivery report-!!!-invoice and O2 contract. is that the delivery/invoice thing the receipt/invoice?
silly questions but help appreciated as my wife and i both have claims to send. gulp!0 -
Mine is in September...thought I will check with the customer services. Long wait...and no answer.
I remember from previous experience with different retailers...advisable to
1. Check details with them on the phone
2. Send all the necessary paper work in special delivery
3.Photocopy everything
4.Phone in a week to check if they have received it
If things go wrong ...atleast can claim in the small claims court with the photocopies and special delivery receipt.
Good luck!0 -

My contract started on 24 February so I will be sending in February bill and July bill. You also need to include the chequeback form that they sent you by email and the till reciept (says transfer note on the top of it).
Photocopy everything you send. Send by special delivery with consequntial loss insurance (as you are claiming back £360 it is worth spending a bit extra) and last of all .....Good Luck! Hope that clarifies your questions.0 -
Thx for help guys. I had already done what you had suggested save the small risk of sending the stuff by recorded delivery - they have arrived, thank goodness, but a qick call at the end of the week is still in order.
If it helps you, we were both told, by phone and...wait for it... I had an email confirming this, to send it to the address on the voucher form. The reason being that they have different PO Boxes for different networks- as you can see from my copy and paste, below. It even says not too worry about the receipt/invoice. I'm glad this one bit of advice was in writing tho, as we were both told on the phone(different calls) to send the Transfer Note that Saeed says to send. Photocopied everything too, the dog included!
Thanks again. Here's waiting, hoping....

Dear Customer
Thank you for your query via our Phones 4u website
Please send your redemption voucher to the address stated on the form (this is due to we have different chequeback's for different networks. This is the reason for the address's). In regards to your receipt. As you have purchased form the website, this is not necessary due to their is not a receipt and we will have record of your purchase on our system.
Regards

I phoned them yesterday and they claimed they had not received my cashback letter even though I have a special delivery receipt with the collectors signature and it was sent to them on August 9th!!!! Can the rest of you guys post what has happened to yours. I hope they are not making everyones cashback forms disappear.0

Both my wife and I will chase up our cliams this week and let you know what they tell us.
Just in case we get the same response as you - were they at all 'helpful' in telling you what to do next? What did they say etc?0 -
hi guys,

Not much to be honest ..just to sit tight. She said you have plenty of time to claim again if this has got lost, but if you guys remember we only had 30 days in which to claim, the new chasback deals come with a 60 days claim period which is what she must of thought I had. I am bricking it a little as £360 is quite a lot to lose so I will be persuing this very vigorously. Glad I didn't take out TWO cashback contracts like I was going to. Everyone that took out the deal, please post what is happening with your claims so we can get a better picture of what is happening.0 -
if i had applied for my cashback sooner i could have cancelled the contract and been quids in due to the o2 0844 number fiasco. But it looks like phones 4 u have "disappeared" my cashback so i may not be able to do this because if i cancel my contract they may refuse to pay me the cashback! I am going to pursue it on tuesday and see what is going on.
Anyone else in a similar position?0
