Did you get some sleep in the end? Glad the steam was of some use. Difficult to get on with anything else while breathing steam, of course...
I don't know if you get the opportunity to take it easy at all, but this sounds like the sort of infection that requires you to rest. (Ironic when you can't sleep because of it but even if you just put your feet up it may help).
Was the play any good?Miggy

Well, I'm so 'bunged up' i can barely see lol it's silly.
No, no sleep really all night but have only been up since 2.30pm!
Not hungry at all atm either, so whatever it is, it's got me good!

I'm glad the play was good! And free.
Have you been to the doctor's with this bug? I know it's the weekend and by tomorrow you could well be getting past the worst of it, but it really seems to be taking it out of you. Glad you got some rest though, even if it wasn't sleep.
Oh - just remembered - Vitamin C and zinc. That's what you need. Apparently Vitamin C gets depleted when we have infections and zinc does something or other, I can't remember what. You probably know already, sorry. Might help though.
If you don't feel like eating, just keep up the fluids. Is your temperature up? If it isn't, would fresh air help?
Too many questions. Hope you can get a better night's sleep tonight and shake this off.
xxMiggy

Worked out earlier that I spend more time yesterday asleep in bed than up and about (went back to bed for a while in the evening too). Did have quite a good night's sleep as well, thanks.
Today had to take Mr BR to work (bike still in shop) as I need the car for a spot of work myself this afternoon, although on the way home I started to feel very sick and went to bed when i got back - slept for 3 hours. Do feel a little more human today than I did yesterday but I think I've got to be careful not to do too much too soon.
Living on Lemsips atm...although Mr BR came home yesterday and *made* me have a couple of bacon butties which I didn't want...................until they were put in front of me!!Our LBM: Dec 2011. DMP started: Jan 2012. Debt at LBM: £41,568

Bless him!Are you sure you wouldn't benefit from a visit to the doctor? Though resting seems to be helpful.

Thanks hon, but I don't think the Dr could help as I think it's just a virus. It's just this one has hit me hard. I'm feeling a bit more human today though so I'm hoping that might continue! Our LBM: Dec 2011. DMP started: Jan 2012. Debt at LBM: £41,568

Any improvement has to be good. Just take it easy, okay? As much as possible anyway.
By the way - nice total of non-chocolate days there!Miggy

Thanks! I keep forgetting to update. I know that I've eaten chocolate twice so far in Lent but I'll have to do a proper count up of how many days there's been and update accordingly, so there might be a big leap (hopefully!)
I'm sure I've found choccy so easy not to have cos I baked cup-cakes! I can'rt get rid of the thought that it's cheating a bit.Our LBM: Dec 2011. DMP started: Jan 2012. Debt at LBM: £41,568

Thanks, yes I did. Mr BR said this morning (as I woke just as he was tiptoeing out to get ready for work) that he'd listening to a beautiful sound after he turned the alarm off. Me snoring! :rotfl: He said it was beautiful cos it meant I was getting some sleep *awww*
Feel a bit rough atm but I think that's because I've not been up long and having finished this Lemsip yet.Our LBM: Dec 2011. DMP started: Jan 2012. Debt at LBM: £41,568
