Today we've had to spend £71.50 on the car tax (and not £60 as Mr BR has been quoting me all along!)
On the plus side though, we got the water bill in today - for some reason it's charged every month for eight months - and it was £67 a month and not the £60 (again) that Mr BR has been telling me and that I told the CCCS...however, I asked if we could pay 12 monthly. He said "I don;t know, I could always ring them". I replied with "oh that's a good idea, honey" rather than the 'I've been nagging you to do that for over a week' that I wanted to say! Anyway, he's rung them, asked to pay 12 monthly, they said yes and will be sending out a new breakdown asap - should be going down to £40 something instead.
Now, don't get too scared folks, but I might bake today....
ps: forgot to say - lost another 1lb today(Saturday is weigh in day) so have updated my siggy.

Great news on the weight loss BR, you are doing really well !!
Glad you enjoyed the cinema, but must admit, I don't buy anything food and drink wise there anymore. We smuggle in bottles of water and cartons of drink for the children and if I have no sweets or goodies in the house ,go to the sweetshop beforehand for a bag of 50p fizzy mixes ! Makes the trip so much cheaper and enjoyable.
If we have a day of heavyish spending , I still wake in the night worrying. As much as the lack of sleep isn't good, I like to try and think of it that at least we are now being responsible and that we are looking at the cost of things and by still worrying a little we are unlikely to fall off the wagon. I think we still need to keep that little bit of worry and niggling in the back of our mind if that makes sense. Don't worry you will find that middle ground I'm sure. I think that we have . Infact I feel now that I have more of a life now, than we have had for the last 5 years to be honest. Your time will come too.
Great news that Mr BR called the Water rates people and you didn't have to nag !!
I have to pay for my car tax as well. Its £217 for the year , must check the 6 monthly cost, as we can't afford that in one go ! I'm holding off for some money to show up in the account though !!
Good luck with the baking !!LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Oh dear, it feels as though out light bulb has got a bit dim this weekend as we went out and had a carvery today! We only have small plates and so it only cost £10 but even so.
I think what's happened this weekend is that we got a bid fed up of it all, but it's interesting that all our 'treat' spending has been on food. I'm already expecting a gain next Saturday!
Still, one good thing about Mr BR returning to work after his half term is that we're not likely to spend any money on a day to day basis! Our LBM: Dec 2011. DMP started: Jan 2012. Debt at LBM: £41,568
