Nice link Jojo. I've bookmarked it!

I've come home from work and gone for one of my new MUA Love Hearts varnish, in 'U rok'. It's a really nice dark lilac colour. It took 3 coats for a really thick coverage but in all honesty I could have got away with two if I'd paid more attention to my application. Only £2 for a 6.8ml bottle.

I have a very un-impressive collection as i have only recently redisocvered the joys of painting my nails. Yesterday i had a spending itch and just really wanted to buy something frivilous and indulgent - I plumped for a nail polish - Chanel Orange Fizz and I love it. Also got a models own greeny metallic with my boots points.

I'm now after a silver holographic glitter if anyone can recommend something good - happy to pay between £5-£10

I use vaseline rather than tape for water marbling, I find the tape too fiddly.

Craft glitter with clear nail varnish (after a tip on here!) rather than a coloured polish. It's super sparkly, I love it :j

The Barry M clear nail varnish with silver glitter in it is amazing! I have in on my toes now! Only £2.99 I think as well. Will finish painting them and then try to post a pic.

I've just seen an Essie colour that looks lovely - Island Hopping. Help think, I'm moving onto loving purples after getting Vampsterdam.

Thanks for the heads up, but staying strong, recently bought Matt Nail Envy, LD Life's a beige NP and Seche Restore, so will keep hands in pockets ATM!

    Crystal files:-
I started with a glass file from local chemist, liked it much better than emery boards, but dropped it and broke in two. The LD crystal ones are so much better, I carry smaller one in case in handbag, then got the large one as part of a set, this lives on bedside cabinet. I bought another of the glass ones and keep for my toe nails, as problems with my joints make cutting them difficult.

I got it smooth with about 4 layers of clear NV over the top. I'm dreading trying to get it off :rotfl: But it hasn't chipped yet and i've had it on about 4 days now so it's all good :j

Yeah, you'll probably need to do the foil thing to remove it.
