  • Lady S....I've dabbled with Konad but I really need to invest in some more plates. Can you recommend any at a reasonable price? I'd like to try the full nail ones. Are the bundle monster ones any good?

My rubbish Rimmel top coat has finally dried enough for me to get my camera out of my bag, so here's my nails of the week...OPI Play Til Midnight, blinged up with W7 Cosmic Purple...

I have two konad plates, but have brought a job lot of the candy ones from amazon. Think it was 25 plates for £13.

I reckon there were only about 3 I wouldn't use, so will give them a go this week and see how I get on.

I avoided bundle monster as I read they had no backing and were really sharp.

Could you post me a link to the candy ones? Let us know how you get on with them.

Had to google konad - I am so not going there.

I've managed to wreck my nails today :( so no pretty polish for me until I have time to file them down again. Too tired tonight and no time before work tomorrow. I feel naked!

  • i've just bought 3 of the new accessorize 3d glitters, they're gorgeous. Any glitter polish I've used before has never had good coverage but these look like solid glitter, just like in the bottle. I'm so not looking forward to taking it off though! Also tried another A England one over the weekend - Lady of the Lake. I'm really impressed with this brand, they seem to go on really well and dry fast. Shame they're £9 a go, although that's probably a good thing to stop me from just buying them all!

Well I have taken the plunge and the candy plates are really quite good. I only used one as a test, but I was quite impressed.

The plates aren't as thick as the konad ones, but this doesn't make any difference to the end print. Although the stamper and scraper were pretty naff and I would use my konad one in prefernce here.

    This is what I did...

    Nails without print

The nails with three stamps on them

Have been looking at konad but have never used it before but love some the pale pink nails with white designs on them. So i went to ebay and amazon to see what was what and now i'm confused as i don't know what i need, scraper, stamp?, what is it for, do you have to use their polish or can you use your own.

Just what I was looking for, loads of full nail ones in that set. Added to my Amazon wishlist!

Did you use Konad polish as well, or just a normal black one?
